It's what I needed
No surprises on operation.. it was as noisy as expected, but it put out! I had a 100' hose on each end of it and the biggest problem was an old hose that has some pretty bad kinks which affected the end result. The pump still managed to push 1500 gallons in about 1 day. I have to give it extra credit for pulling the water about 4' up before pushing it about 12' further up. It's too early to say how long it will last, but the unit feels very heavy and durable. I wish I had tried it sooner!

Good little machine
I bought a smaller one and realized too late that it wasn’t going to do the job. I used this to empty my 28ft pool. Although it took a few days, it did a really good job and was fairly quiet. Although this is probably not what u want for a large job like mine, it was what I could afford and did the job. Very heavy and sturdy.

Pumps good as long as you use full-flow 3/4" hoses
I use this to keep the water level on my pool down throughout the winter. It works good as long as you have full-flow 3/4" hoses on both sides. If you use smaller hoses it struggles and doesn't pump much volume. It draws 800-1000W which is horribly inefficent, but I only use it for a few hours at a time so what are you going to do..

This Pump Sucks
The Good Thing is, it Sucks! Fast transfer, heavy duty. Noise level, although not "quiet", is expected for the pump capacity. Keeps water out of my basement during flooding rains.

Might be me but Garbage
I think that I just don't know in what conditions this pump is supposed to operate but come on! This thing is crap. I have since purchased pumps to transfer/drain pools and ponds that not only do it in a few minutes and require ZERO priming and maintenance. Again, don't know if it's just me but this thing has never worked.

Problems in Getting It To Work
Learned after the fact that you can't use any longer suction hose of 10 feet, and actually should be 6-8 feet. Every time hose loses suction, the pump needs to be primed again and again and again, which is a hassle. Loss of suction can result even if it is not blocked with debris and even though hose does not pop out of the water, it can still lose suction for no reason. It makes for a lot of extra work and bending over it to keep trying to make it work.

Well Made & Easy To Handle.
Used it to pump water 9 feet up from bottom of a pool using a garden hose. Not a very high volume pump but adequate, well built and very portable.

Good pump for small jobs
We used this pump to keep the pool empty during construction. Seemed to work well durning monsoon season.

We bought this pump in April 2022. Loved it! Used it twice that year at our cabin transferring water from a 200 gallon tank to our water tower. Stored it away in our home until next summer of 2023 the same deal. But this year when we used the pump half way through the pumping process it gave out. The bearing burnt out. We called the company they do not supply that part. All the other parts yes but not the bearing. Hope the insurance I purchased covers the cost of a new pump.
