Easy to install and perfect replacement for Golf Mk6
Easy to install with the right tools: a torx screwdriver for removing the two screws holding on the tailgate trim, and a triple square spline bit for the latch itself. To gain access to the latch, remove the two screws in the tailgate trim handle recesses, then pry off the trim along the bottom edge, releasing the 4 clips holding the bottom edge of the trim on - this is made easier by removing the clip-on panels in the trim behind the rear light clusters. Once the four clips are released, there is enough flex in the trim to gain access to the latch screws without removing the tailgate trim entirely. Unscrew the latch (with the triple square spline bit) and remove the latch. Then CHECK THE PART NUMBER OF THE LATCH IS COMPATIBLE WITH THIS PART. Fit the replacement and refit the trim. Easy. I replaced the latch on my Golf Mk6, and I have very little mechanical skill. The part was a perfect fit, and worked immediately. Very pleased.

Purchased as a replacement. Fitted and it worked. However, after 9 weeks, if failed and does not work. There is no way to get a replacement or refund. I am unable to recommend this product. Avoid.

Perfect replacement for my 07 Passat (estate)

La referencia de la cerradura de mi en Seat Leon II del año 2010 es 1P0827505B y fue totalmente compatible. Quitar y poner dos tornillos. Os la recomiendo 100%. Pd: En los desguaces me pedían 60e, y en lista de espera por su alta demanda. Se rompen todas las del grupo VW de este modelo.
