How To Play Button Accordion * Volume 2 with CD

You need to start with book 1 and go through each of the songs slowly. Listen to how it should sound many times first on the CD. Then try to play the song. Give yourself lots of time and practice. Move slowly. Practice the songs you've learned already. I've finally finished book 1. I'm finally starting to be able to independently move my left hand (which handles the bass keys - or rhythm) from the melody keys on the right. This is the hardest think about the button accordion and all I can say is that these are great books to learn and practice with. The cds are a great help to know how it should sound. But it takes a long time of practice and playing the songs over a long period of time to actually get any good at it. But hopefully, you enjoy it, and you are having fun that whole time. I do. Thanks Dr. Doktorski for a simple and enjoyable way to practice, and very nice sheet music to go with it. I wish I could buy more books of other songs with sheet music in this same fashion which fits nicely for button accordion. Maybe a book of polkas and waltzes would be nice.

This is just songs. NO instruction. Waste of money.

Great songs and very helpful. I learned to play my button accordion in a matter of a week. It is especially helpful mohave the CD--but it wore out after just a few times use.

I think this book and CD is great but I need to find more dance music for the button box.

Excellent cd's

I ordered this button accordion book by mistake. I was not aware that they had button accordion (buttons on left and right side).I assumed it was talking about buttons on left side of accordion. I returned the books and received very little for returning them. If you buy the book, know that it is not worth sending back for a refund.
