Good a/c adapter, saving me batteries when I'm near power.
I have a Roland amplifier that runs on batteries, but this adapter lets me use a/c power. Saves batteries when power is handy. It's working great and a third of the cost of the Roland OEM unit.

Fixed the problem. Great product
This was a replacement for a cord that was causing the amp to cut out. I had no idea the power supply could be the issue but after investigating online I thought I would give it a try. This new power supply worked and solved the problem of the amplifier cutting out.

It works!
And it doesn't take up a lot of room on the power strip. I am using this with a Roland Micro Cube that I got used with no power supply. This PSU drives it to ridiculous volume cleanly. I do not get any buzz or hum. One caution, however: this unit comes with a polarity reversing adapter which I need to use with the Micro Cube. BE SURE TO LOOK ON WHATEVER YOU PLUG THIS IN TO AND GET THE POLARITY RIGHT! Obviously, I didn't gig the product as I regard this as a feature. Included in the box is a warning about polarity, I'm just emphasizing this point for those who don't read the materials in the box. (Although I'm not sure those people are reading my review...)

Perfect
I bought this for an amp I got that had no cord. This is the exact one for that amp and works perfectly. Good price as well. Recommend if you need a replacement power cord.

Not Designed for Roland Products
Yes this will work with some Roland products, but it's not designed for them. It comes with an extra polarity adaptor that if you lose it will no longer function safely, or properly. Additionally, and I find this very disturbing, it doesn't show the stock polarity of the unit on the unit. There's a tiny piece of paper that comes with it stating WARNING READ THIS FIRST. Lose that piece of paper, and you wont be able to check the polarity of the unit without test gear. With both of these issues combined this makes for a very unsafe unit to use with your Roland products.

Great 9V adapter for effects pedals
I have a distortion/OD pedal with a dual triode inside. I needed 9V @ 400mA so I bought this adapter. I tested it unloaded and it measures 9.05 volts. I loaded it with a 100 ohm load and it measured 9.21 volts. I plugged it into my guitar pedal and it still measures 9.21 volts @ 398mA. This is backward from what I'm used to but 9.21 volts is fine. And the adapter is perfectly quiet. I also tried it with a Boss '63 Fender Reverb and an old Boss DS-1. Both worked fine even though the older Boss needs the Boss ACA adapter. I'm still a little confused why the unloaded voltage is lower than the loaded voltage but it is not causing me any problems at all. I would buy again.

Works with my Roland Mini Cube
Perfect fit for my Roland Mini Cube that I picked up in a pawn shop without a power supply.
