Works great and highly recommended.
Works Great! Mine has lasted over 3 years and is still working. I've decided to but another one and give the old one a rest. It served its duty and I'm very happy with the purchase

Does what it’s made for
I like this design better than a previous product I bought for same purpose. It had a fountain feature, for comparison, and was also solar/battery operated. I like how with this product, the battery stays out of the water. Assembly couldn’t be easier just snap on legs. Nothing has broken on it which I couldn’t say for other product I bought previously. It’s easy to clean off the little pads that can get a little slimy in the water. It works well. I don’t love the aesthetic of plastic housing but it serves a necessary purpose to keep water moving, it is easy to maintain, and I think the moving water makes bird bath more attractive to birds. I love watching them perch on edge, take a sip, take a look around then jump in for a bath! My bird bath is quite the busy place these days which makes me appreciate this product very much! And no mosquitoes breeding in it—which says a lot when you live in Florida. :)

A Hugh Disappointment!
This wiggler is handsome. That is the only good thing I can say about it. I've had the 8WW for about four months. This wiggler has been a very big disappointment. First, it arrived with a defective part. The manufacturer apologized and replaced the part. One problem with this wiggler is that the battery does not hold enough of a charge to run through the night. I also does not work early in the morning nor does it work on cloudy days. It does not work consistently enough to prevent mosquitoes from laying eggs. Based on my experience, I can not recommend buying this product. I feel this purchase was a waste of money. I regret buying it. I give one star begrudgingly because I can't submit the review without doing so. I would prefer to give no star. I've used battery operated wigglers until this purchase. They perform dependably. A couple of good D batteries will last for months. The 8WW has put me off of solar for now.

Worked great for a couple months - now it's dead
Update to my previous comments: I contacted the manufacturer, Miller Manufacturing, and they told me I had a defective motor. Since I was still within the 1 year warranty they will send me a replacement. Great company, easy to work with. Loved this water wiggler and so did the birds. Unfortunately it only lasted a few months. I considered this an expensive purchase to begin with - to have it last only a few months makes it extremely expensive. The battery included looks to be big enough to last for years so I don't know if it's a problem with the battery or the circuits. I'm very disappointed because this really worked well and attracted the birds while it worked. So sad.

Works even on cloudy days
This is the second one I've bought. The first one was the one powered by two D cell batteries. That one worked well enough, but the batteries would only last about a month. The solar powered one works even on overcast or rainy days. Just purchased a second one for the another birdbath Update: After being placed outside in my birdbath it lasted for a little over two weeks before it quit working. My birdbath is in a spot where the solar panel received about 4 hours of direct sunlight and partial sunlight there after. I have solar lights in my backyard that receive far less direct sunlight and they have been working for over 3 years. The solar lights even work with 3” of snow on top of the solar panel. I am very displeased with the performance of the solar Water Wiggler and will go back to the D cell power one. D cell batteries aren’t that expensive and will last 6-8 weeks versus this solar power one that lasted only 2 weeks

Worth the investment, far better than the cheap knockoffs
Rarely write reviews but this one was so much better; we had one for a decade and it finally died after leaving it out over winter in water. Tried purchasing a cheap one and it was useless, only worked in complete direct sunlight. Build quality on the Water Wiggler is so much better, the solar panel has a glass covering instead of being printed on plastic, and I think the round dome helps catch rays from more angles. It works even in moderate shade. I was surprised it was still so expensive after all these years but after seeing one of the cheap ones in person I know now why this is worth the extra.

Perfect for a birdbath and better than a fountain
The solar fountains that I've purchased in the past all become clogged with debris and bird droppings and have to be cleaned out about once a month. Also the fountain seems to help in evaporating the water in the bird bath faster. This solar water wiggler keeps the water agitated, it doesn't bother the birds at all and in fact seem to like it, it doesn't clog and doesn't have a filter that has to be cleaned and replaced frequently, and the battery lasts all day and into the night. It's so much better than that solar bird fountain.

It works!
So far I like it! I was looking for a solar-powered bird bath heater and that doesn't seem to exist, but this should help a little by keeping the water moving. It's very cute

Purchased the solar version of the water wriggler. It sits up on 3 metal legs and a little thing in the middle spins around and causes the surface of the birdbath water to ripple. To prevent still water/mosquitos/algae from forming. It was about $100 so this is quite expensive for what it is. Large surface dome on top. May just go back to using cheaper solar fountains.
