Key Fob crystallizing and falling apart? Buttons starting to work? Want an exact color match? Want something affordable? Look no further, these replacement fobs were a 100% great purchase. I bought these for a family member's 2010 Chevy Colorado LZ1. The feel is more robust than the original OEM version, and they function just the same as the OEM version giving you the same level of control. Color is about the same and the OEM version, but you won't notice once you replace both. Bare in mind that you will need to have these program to your truck, so you'll need to take it to your local Chevy Dealer or anyone that might have a reprogramming device for these trucks which should bring ease of setup. These are a must buy if you're looking to replace your old Key Fobs.

For my 2006 Hummer H3. Unfortunately my production model was one of the few that had a manufacturers "Lockout" for coding method that only the manufacturer (GM) can unlock and program. I went to several local lock smiths to verify and all said the same. So returned these to Amazon. But otherwise for the money and quality of the remotes, I'm silently cursing GM.. (sigh) as these were awesome.

This key fob does not work on a 2007 Hummer H3. You have to get a locksmith in order to install. That’s an extra charge you’ll have to pay. I found it easier just to call a local locksmith to make sure the new key fob will work. I returned this order.

Looks good. Came with dead battery, no big deal, replaced it. Got it programmed. Worked intermittently for about a day. Looks like I’m spending $50 on an original one. Lot of good other reviews on this. Maybe I’m just unlucky. -- EDIT: Revising my rating because I believe it is the antenna to the wireless system in the vehicle that has an issue. This item probably worked fine and I didn't know it.

So most production models 2007 and after won't let you program this at home. You'll need a dealer or a locksmith. However, if your old FOB E board is still functional, you can just swap these out and it looks brand new. That's what we did and no programing necessary.

I was mistaken to think I could program these myself. After I received these I read directions and I was directed to go to a dealer to have programmed. I didn’t do that. I opened up the remote and switched bodies and put old electronic part into new body. Worked out well when all I needed was the body because the key chain part of it broke. It is really easy to switch out. Now I have a spare in case this one breaks. Saved me $100 to have programmed by dealer.

Easy to move internal components to new fob. It was great not to need a locksmith and incur that cost.

Il y a un an, j'ai acheté deux coquilles pour $5. Elles n'étaient pas de bonnes qualité. Les boutons restaient collés. J'ai donc décidé d'en acheter d'autres de bonne qualité. J'ai retiré les circuits électroniques et je les ai remplacés par les vieille. C'est très facile à faire et ça fontionne très bien. Je n'ai pas eu besoin de payer pour faire programmer les clés.

Works as described, found programming instructions to do it myself. Dealer wanted $80 per fob, and 1 hour labour for each fob to program, I saved over $300 doing it myself with these.
