Good flavor, but don't overdo it. McCormick seasonings are inconsistent in how much is needed. Some you use lightly, some a more normal amount, and some you need a heavy pour. This is not as peppery or garlicy or salty as other flavors. Makes any steak or burger better without getting too fancy. Experiment with their other seasonings for a variety of flavor.

Montreal Smoke?
I have been using the Montreal steak seasoning for quite some time now. It gives the best flavor to steaks and chops that I love. If you use this, you WON'T need anything else. That was until I learned that they had a spicy version. That is all I use, and I love them. For whatever reason, I remember the grocery stores around here being out of both for about a month or so. I decided to check Amazon to see if it was available. Lo and behold, I found them both. I also found some other flavors not sold in stores, but most importantly, I found this smoky flavor. This seasoning works so well in burgers, meatloaf, and on regular steaks and pork chops, but please don't stop there. I've gotten adventurous and tried it on grilled asparagus, brussels sprouts, even broccoli and cauliflower. It's delicious. I must say, if you're going to try it on vegetables, go easy on the sprinkles. Trust me, you'll thank me later. It gives that grilled essence I love so much. Reminds me of when I grill using charcoal. If you're curious about trying it, go ahead. You won't be disappointed. I know I will also try some of the others I’ve found.

I use this on steak, pork and chicken. It is pretty much the same mix of seasoning I might use anyway plus added smoky flavor that really takes things to the next level of flavor bliss.

I usually make up my own spice mixes, but I grabbed this at the grocery store one day on a whim and I LOVE it! Now I cannot find it at the store, so I checked Amazon. It was such a good deal I had to buy it.
