Little Live Scruff-A-Luvs - Blossom Easter Bunny - Limited Edition

Ok so there are those who are writing reviews saying that after washing they turn out horrible, matted, knotted, not soft, etc.... My daughter wanted one sooo badly so I ordered the originally little one which was a pink dog and our first time it didn't turn out well but then she received this one for Easter so the 2nd time around we washed with shampoo, scrubbed and rinsed real well, then used conditioner. Once we started to dry it we brushed it really well and it turned out perfect! Super soft and super cute! We rewashed the first one she received and did the same thing and it also turned out perfectly! If you are going to buy this for your child please take the time to actually wash it! Ended up being a GREAT purchase! I even ordered the original one that makes sounds which she will be opening for her birthday!

I purchased this bunny for my daughter (9) for her Easter basket and was pleasantly surprised. Lemon Drizzle aka (Mimzy Flower) came in a ball with a brush and tiara. The ball was tightly packed so per instructions we got a bowl of warm water and gave her a bath. We did not use soap although it says you can use it. We towel dried her and since my daughter wanted to take her to the egg hunts, we rotated her in front of the vents of the car heater. She dried very quickly. The hair will never look fluffy, more like a sheepdog, it allows for the child to brush it and keep trying to make it look cute. She had minimal hair loss in brushing and my daughter did all the work. She is very cute and will be in the family for years to come.

They ARE called scruff-a-luvs and there for are scruffy. I am not sure what some people are expecting. For the price point they were fun I got four of them for my four kiddos they put their swimsuits on and gave them a good scrubbing in the bathtub and then blow dry. Day two there’s still a bit damp but they’re cute. The purple one looks kind of creepy in the bathtub but ended up being cuter as it dried. -My only negative is that the packaging is so ridiculously girly -Why in the world would they think a boy kid wouldn’t want one of these? I ended up getting one for my son anyways the yellow one he loves it.

Super cute concept, my 4 year old daughter loved this. She took it in the bath with her and washed it out, and I spent about 45 minutes blow drying on low setting. End result was cute, fluffy, and fairly soft. I trimmed some of the fur to see the face better. Taking off a star because over about a month, this bunny is the rattiest looking stuffed animal she has and I’m constantly having to brush the hair out to keep it decent looking. She still loves it and sleeps with it every night.

My daughter REALLY wanted this. I tried to talk her out of it, but she spent her own birthday money on it. As far as the value, the quality of the stuffed toy is terribly. In my opinion, it looks terrible even after you have "cleaned and brushed" it to beautify it. It still looks like a ratty old toy with compacted stuffing. That said, my daughter loved washing it and drying it and brushing it. She sleeps with it every night, too. The headband crown is pretty cute, too, and another daughter who has one wished hers had a crown.

The finished plush toy is very soft or 'floppy' but that seems to be entirely due to the thing having to be able to dry out after a bath. I brushed and fluffed and groomed it and the bunny turned out a heck of a lot like the picture--you don't even have to be super patient, just scrub the fur with the brush instead of smoothing the fur down like you would with an actual animal or human's hair. Also, the fur is not very thick/dense. This is due to it having to be able to quickly dry out too. If you've ever had a plush bath toy you kinda know what to expect. The one I got is a lovely soft apricot, light peachy sort of colour which the literature calls Posie. Haven't named it yet but def not sticking with that. Over all, I'm extremely satisfied. I would recommend this toy for any reluctant bathers--can be soaked and washed over and over again--or for any little-one who is having trouble learning proper self-grooming. It's also a great toy for those kids interested in nururing, animal care, veterinary stuff and could also be turned into a lesson about taking care of real animals.

I was really suprised at how fun this bunny was! I got it for my 3 yr old daughter. It comes in a cute box and is wrapped up in a ball when you take it out of the box. My daughter washed it in the tub, so it was soaked, then we dried it with my hair dryer for about 10mins. It dried really easily and its fur didnt fall out. Its a really cute bunny and a fun project for kids. I can see us washing and drying it again since it was so easy. I will add that i have a really high quality hair dryer but I think this bunny would be fine going through a clothes dryer. My daughter loves it!

I know there's "no competition" when giving gifts, but I've had mom's tell me multiple times that this gift was the favorite! As a mom, I don't get it, it comes out as a matted ball of yuck. But there's something about the maternal need to take something and help it grow, blossom, and become what it was meant to be- the little girls absolutely LOVE it!

It's a cute idea and fun to do on a rainy day, but it doesn't turn out as fluffy as they show in the picture. We just used water, no soap. It took a very long time to dry with the hair dryer, which was why I deducted a star. I even wrung it out and towel dried it before we started. Me and my daughter had to switch off holding the hair dryer and doing the brushing. She got a bit bored towards the end. I'd still probably buy another one, but I wouldn't recommend it for younger kids who have a short attention span.
