This book is really the best of all the gifts I gave my grandaughters for Christmas or according to the 6 year old who wants to be a Veterinarian, the best ever! I found books that were a little young for her, or stories about a vet visit...but...this book is really informative, has cutouts, forms you create to learn body parts...it's really a wonderful teaching guide for an any young person who wants to care for & study to be a Veterinarian in the future. My son & daughter in law can't say enough about it & can't believe how much time they have enjoyed reading & doing some of the extras it offers. They created their own vet office & are spending their time away due to Covid wrapped up in this. I looked it over myself & being a person involved in dog, horse, goat, sheep, llama, you name it & NJ state Wildlife Rescue....I have worked with Veterinarians who didn't know some of the treatments I had learned over the years from people who have owned & cared for animals for 30 to 40 years. So after 40 years myself, I felt this book was a amazing tool for young people who want to become a doctor for animals or gain the knowledge this book offers anyone who ends up rescuing or working with animals in their future. It's the best I've found & had great ratings. It's geared for an 8 to 12 year olds, but my grandaughter is very mature & her 9 year old sister shares her enthusiasm, by reading, helping with the projects & sharing the wonderful experience this book offers!

My 9 year old daughter consumed this workbook so quickly. Sometimes you buy a workbook, and it never gets completed - not this one. Every page is done! She is an animal lover. The activities in the book offer a lot of variety from page to page and encourage the child along with stickers of completion for each activity. She learned more about animals that are common pets while having a good time. We would definitely consider purchasing more books like this for different careers, such as zookeeper, marine biologist, etc.

Fun activities

Purchased for my 7yo who is interested in being a vet. The book is very interactive, informative and moves at a good pace. Not too fast, not too slow. Each page has a quiz or activity to make it hands on and not just a sit and listen. Would highly recommend.

Love this book. I bought it for my 9 yo ggson, who wants to be a Vet some day. I saw where The Kneady Homesteader on youtube bought one of books in the series. We read it in the car before school in the morning. Great interactive book.

My five-year-old aspiring vet loves this book. The lessons are engaging and challenging enough to be fun without being ponderous or overwhelming for a little kid. I could imagine a somewhat older child being into it as well. It's good quality and written/illustrated with care and attention to detail.

This is a very cool book with TONS of information and things to do. Love it and highly recommend it.

My niece is a massive animal lover and has such a gift with them. When looking for a Christmas present I needed something to acknowledge and foster that while being a step up from a vet dress up outfit or doll. This book provides great learning and while all the gifts were being opened around her she stopped to read the book!
