Marvel Select: Juggernaut Action Figure

I've never collected Marvel figures even though I've been a fan of the comics since I was a kid. As an adult, who loves the Marvel films, I still only thought of action figures as a kids thing. The Juggernaut changed that. I don't know how but I happened upon a video review of the Juggernaut on YouTube and I couldn't believe what I saw. This didn't look like a toy at all and yet had articulation like an action figure. Not only that but he looks exactly like I remember him from the X-Men comics. That's something most toys don't do. They look like toys. They're disproportionate, lack details and are cartoony looking at best. I've seen some solid looking figures in the Marvel Legends line but the Selects take it to a whole new level. These are premium figures that for once, make me feel like I'm really getting my money's worth. From head to toe, the Juggernaut is extremely well sculpted. He's proportioned correctly, has a menacing face, his helmet is the correct dome shape (instead of cone shaped like past versions) and along with his arm bands, is brushed to show scratches and other signs of wear. His clothing is the correct color and his boots look great all the way down to the soles which have treads on them. That's something rarely seen in an action figure. But this isn't a mere action figure, it's a work of art. Model quality sculpting with action figure posability. There was never anything close to this quality when I was a kid and even in recent years, action figures have rarely reached this level of detail. Only static models could do this but most of them were far from flexible. I also can't go without saying how big and heavy this guy is. He really has to be seen to be believed! He's so heavy, you'd think he was made of die cast metal. If I could change anything, I'd like his hands to move independently from his arms but it doesn't tarnish him for me. He's absolutely perfect and my high mark for figurines of this kind. It just doesn't get any better than this. He's also the first of my new collection. All this to say, the Juggernaut is an incredible figure and worth every penny paid for him. I've seen much smaller and less detailed figures going for more than this. This guy is absolutely worth it. I guarantee you'll be amazed by the sheer size and weight of him alone. While I wouldn't advise him for younger children to beat up with rougher style play, he's fine for older kids who take care of their things, young adults and big kids like me. Free him from his package, recycle it and put him out on display for the world to see. He's bound to draw double takes and comments in no time. For anyone interested in Marvel characters, models or action figures, the Juggernaut is a no brainer recommendation. As far as I'm concerned, this is as good as it gets.

This Juggernaut figure is awesome! The details and paint look great, and it’s super sturdy with tons of articulation for cool poses. It’s about 9 inches tall. Definitely feels like a premium collectible. Perfect for any Marvel fan or desk display — worth every penny!

I just got mine today and i am in awe for his size, weight, and detail. This is really awesome. I am new to collecting figures this. Ive placed more orders for more figures this size. I have these coming soon, thing, abomination, a couple thanos, a super expensive Pitt, Rhino and a few Hulks. I would like to make a suggestion to Diamond Select.... DUROTAN! from WOwC. This figures detail and size would be perfect for that character. I hope you guys take it into consideration. I am very happy with this figure. I hope they add more characters for this style of toy making. Pick one up. Watch the videos on YouTube. You wont regret it. Cheers!

When I ordered this for my son I expected your basic plastic action figure. The quality was way better than that! Very durable and can take a beating by the roughest of kids! My son loves it! Would also make for a nice collectible item!

Awesome detail and it's huge !

I bought this being a fan and didn't open it. I hung it on my wall right next to my Marvel Select Hulk figure also in original package. This figure is Awesome! Juggernaut is just as big as my Hulk figure. The sculpt looks great, the paint looks great and has a nice weight to it. My one problem is the packaging gets to me slightly dogeared on the cardboard corners and also on the top left where it says Marvel Select. I'm still glad I got it though. Just be mindful that sometimes the packaging is not in the Optimal condition I'd prefer being a collector. It's giftable surely and even more so if it's to be opened and played with.

I only buy "select" Marvel Select figures, if they work with the Marvel Legends scale, and this Juggernaut is perfect! He dwarfs the once impressive ML Juggernaut, but his 9" height still makes sense among other ML, and even DCUC, figures. The detail is excellent, he's almost heavy enough to be a doorstop and his decently posable for a Marvel Select piece. (He doesn't require Spiderman posability) This is a winner and I would highly suggest buying him before he's gone. MS Juggernaut stands proudly with my other ML-compatible figures in the line: Red Hulk, The Watcher, Thanos, Mephisto and Zombie Hulk! If he's as popular as I expect him to be, he could be a hot item years from now. Heck, the Mephisto and Thanos MS figs are already selling for about $50 on eBay! The backround thingy is a piece of junk and a complete waste of time. It's an image of a destroyed city or something on cardboard and it stands up about as high as the back of Juggernaut's knees. Just really stupid, but I didn't buy this for the lame background. You definitely get your money's worth with the figure alone. Be warned, he is bound in the package with about 800 metal twist ties, so getting him free is frustrating and it takes time. That said, he's worth the struggle.

Bought this figure a month back. A boehemian figure, its massive. The details are phenomenal, the best figure i own till date. Not very articulated though, but still u can put him in some good poses. Marvel select crushed the competition with this figure. Marvel legends dont stand parallel. Thanks to PBC distributors for the amazing price and good import time.

Impresionante figura de muy buen tamaño y esculpido aparte a un super precio ($649) y es que costo igual a una marvel legend lo cual se me hizo muy buena compra y es que la diferencia de tamaños y hasta la cantidad de plastico es muy notoria eso si no tendra las mismas articulaciones pero aun asi es muy buena opcion y se ve mejor que la version de hasbro en fin esta figura debe estar en tu coleccion de x men.

Just a monstrously awesome figure; but don't drop it on your foot! Seriously this thing has some major league heft to it. If you want a Juggernaut and don't want to over-pay for some of the older versions, or chase down all of the figure parts for the current X-men Juggernaut Build a Figure wave then I would suggest this as a very good substitute to complete your X-men collection. While not as possible as the BAF Juggernaut- he has quite a few joints but because of his sheer mass he doesn't bend much at the knees and elbows- he is just marginally bigger, so he would still work with the Marvel Legends line as the Juggernaut is supposed to physically dominate most of the X-men depending on who is drawing him. I'm a bit split on whether or not he's appropriate for a younger child- the Marvel Select line while known for their great look, is also known for being a bit fragile at time- with this figure I don't think this is a problem, but like I said he's very solid and heavy, so the possibility for damage to others is there. Love the figure though- and I'd also recommend some of the other bigger Select figures like the Hulks (not the Ultimate Hulk though)
