Beautiful addition to my wall
A lil expensive but its big and so far (8months) it works great. It makes a nice loud flop click sound when the hour folds over

Time accuracy is terrible
This is an overpriced piece that’s fragile and can’t do what it’s suppose to do — tell the time accurately

Beautiful but defective
Really wanted to love this clock because it is beautifully designed. However had to return it due to being defective on day 1. The problem being the hour did not change until 10 minutes after the expected time.

Wrote this review once, then amazon app crashed while trying to load photos, so all you get are the bullet points. Battery life measurement TBD. Pros: - Mostly, the design is absolutely unique. The motion of the flips achieve what I needed, which is grabbing my attention to the passing of time to help keep me more on track throughout the day. There is something about the motion in the real physical world that just beats all those screen saver fake mechanical flip clocks you see in the videos by you tubers who do desk tours. Neutral: - Slight noise on minute flips, louder ding on hour flips (only on hour change, even though the hour flips a few times per hour to the same flip for mechanical reasons). I like this as I wanted this clock for above my monitors to remind me to check in with the time more often. Don't put it in a quiet bedroom though. - No 24hr time option. The face's font is perfect for retro-future-NASA vibes, but the AM/PM not so much. This won't bother most people, but would have liked that option. - Cons: - Expensive given issues - Case twist - won't sit perfectly flush as a desk clock without rubber bumpers or something to fix - Instructions claim you can't use rechargeable batteries (takes 2x C Cells) and says you should use Duracell if you don't want to damage the clock. This is probably due to the way older style NiCd cells would slowly lower output over time and while depleting each charge as it would mess with the motor. But without specifying whether Li ion rechargeables that don't behave the same are safe, it pisses me off to have to buy batteries and not be able to use the Li ion usb charging pair I bought at time of purchase for use with this clock. If there was one fix I could request, it would be a usb power option to avoid battery changes and protect the motor life. - Big design WTF moment when you see the branding in a clashing font at center bottom of the clock that was not in the description photos. I may need to take off the housing and repaint at some point if I decide to keep this thing. - No wall mount template on instructions, you have to make your own out of the cardboard insert. This is fine for handy people, but if you aren't you'll want to get help with the putting holes in the wall part. Also if you are one of those people, it's a BYO screw party. Or my box just didn't have them. -No dust cover to protect the flips. My advice to Cloudnola if they were to make a V2 - make the outer frame modular and make a dust cover insert. You can make money selling them after for customization and lower your overhead with regard to color combos. The outer case bits would probably be a higher margin for you. Not having any dust cover means the fragile mechanism is exposed more. Given you have to take it on and off the wall to adjust and to change batteries, you want to protect those flips. If Cloudnola sold outer frames, they could sell a lit one for a good bit extra, or a lighting kit or something.

Nice build quality.
So far, so good. It's been flapping away for about a month now with no issues, keeping good time. She is just a tad noticeable with the minute changes, and the hour changes are very noticeable. Not enough to be a bother, really, but I thought some may want to know about it.

Beautiful industrial design
Love this clock. It’s beautiful. It’s quieter than I thought. The minutes flipping create a quiet flapping sound. The hour flipping has a slight metallic click as a small lever springs back into place. And it’s slightly heavier than I thought. Although it can still be hung with dry wall anchors. And it’s tougher than I thought. The case is rigid metal.

flipping numbers stick
This is the second one I have had. I sent the first one back because the numbers between 40 - 50 would get stuck and not fall properly. I sent it back and the new one does the same thing between 10 - 20. Several numbers slide out of their slot and stick and don't fall right. for over $200 I expected a higher attention to detail.

Batterien halten bislang gut. Eine volle Kaufempfehlung.
