Great bargin, great accuracy
Great, good price and awesome performance. Compared it against some known samples and it was fairly accurate. I do suggest using a fixture.

Works Great- Much cheaper than race shop local. Test all tires with 0 problems
I was hesitant ordering this due to the cost less than half at our local race shops. With that being said We have used for couple months now and It test the same as the higher priced durometer. Case is solid with foam filled. We keep in race trailer so get bounced around with no problems. Will order 2nd for shop for next season. Highly recommend.

Wanted this for comparing hardness of injected molded items to copies I am making from casting epoxy and urethane. I also have the Type A durometer that looks nearly identical and works just as well. Compared the electronic ones available on amazon and this analog one. I won't use this often enough to justify changing batteries, so I opted for this analog one, and it's half the price. Comes with a case as pictured, not amazing quality for the case, but it gets the job done. I have no way to validate accuracy, but for my application, it is good enough. Definitely a lot better than trying to feel hardness by hand, as this gives me a much more accurate measurement.

This meter works excellent for checking and giving me a starting point in my making of "milk" cue tips. Had the type A meter, but it didn't have the stronger spring like the type D consequently I couldn't get a reading with the type A. Had to send it back.
