Excellent product… very well packaged.. came in a sturdy tin which can be used again… had 2 layers of thick vacuum packaging in addition to the standard packaging Fresh, delicious and in perfect condition… excellent value for money and will definitely be ordering again

The pastries were very tasty and I would consider ordering again in the future. Having just returned from Greece these were perfect. Thank you 😊👍 My only comment would be that they were very messy/stucky when opening as the honey had leaked out and honey got everywhere. Maybe a better firner lid would be more suitable for posting followed by the strong plastic wrapping.

The seller provides a rigid plastic container wrapped in sealed plastic film with FRAGILE sticker indicating which way up...BUT this is then enclosed in an Amazon delivery envelope with no instructions at all as to handling . Result: an incredibly sticky mess inside the plastic film,. There is plenty of syrup so the product isnt dry but opening means dealing with the inner box in a really gooey state. It is necessary to store it in a suitable round dish or worktop/table/fridge shelf or wherever it is laid or where it will be kept until all consumed will become equally sticky with syrup. Other than that very pleasing.

When I saw this product on Amazon I didn't have great expectations as most middle-eastern type syrupy sweets are made somewhere in England and often Germany. I was so pleasantly surprised when the product arrived! It is a genuine, traditional Greek sweet, tasting like heaven and costing not much more per kilo than you would pay for it in Greece. It became an instant hit in our UK household and it will be a fortnightly purchase from now on. (yes, we can easily consume a kilo of baclava/kadaifi every in two weeks!) I checked out the seller's website and I found loads of authentic Greek products except most of them were out of stock. I hope they will soon fix this as it is costing them money!!

Great food product but beware the shipping, it is amazingly bad. The pan was just fine and the plastic lid that covered it was just fine as well. BUT the Paper bag, yes you read correctly, BROWN PAPER BAG that it came in was no protection at all for this pan of honey soaked Baklava! The product was well wrapped in a very thick plastic sack around the aluminum pan and lid, well sealed. Then another plastic bag around that. BUT the pan was crushed on one side with both the baklava and honey spilled into the first heavy bag and over all a major mess to deal with. I did write to the seller but without a response at all. Nothing, Nada, Zilch! THIS IS A GOOD product but the seller needs to learn about shipping this product. Just understand if you buy this it is buyer beware when it arrives. OPEN OVER A SINK OR LAY OUT NEWSPAPERS to insure the possible spillage doesn't spread everywhere.

Came very well packaged so no leaks. Not the usual larger piece size which can be a bit too much. These were a perfect size to have after our meal with a coffee, or as a mid morning treat. Very authentic taste, good amount of filling. Will buy again

Having previously bought my baklava through Amazon , as it was coming up to Christmas I decided to get some more and noticed this Gianniotiko as I was browsing. If looks are anything to go by it was winning with me so i gave it a `whirl`. I was definitely not disappointed and will definitely be buying it again. Each piece is slightly more than a mouthful but hey it`s Christmas and it tastes soooo! good. It starts to crumble in the mouth straight away making it very easy to swallow. Did I mention how good it tastes? I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to spoil themselves with a tasty treat.

I am shocked. I opened it when it was delivered and i put one in my mouth and chewed it. It tasted off. When I opened the lid cover fully , I saw to my horror that half of the sweets in the tray were mouldy. I spat out the one in my mouth quickly. This is food poisoning. Awful.
