Great Taste 2020 Winner - Organic Certified - Grass Fed Cows – English Ayurvedic Clarified Ghee by Organic Swaad 300g

This ghee is definitely one of my top faves. Depth of flavour, consistency of ghee itself and its spreadibility, and of the most important distinction: taste when used in cooking, I can only give high marks. We use it for cooking meats and vegetables, and in place of butter on toast. The company always delivers quickly. And I do not know who is responsible for packaging it so securely, but I sincerely appreciate how firmly padded the bubble wrap round the jar was secured! No chance of breakage.

I am a returning customer for this ghee. Very happy with quality & cooking performance. We use it mainly for Deity worship (Vaishnavas will understand) and it burns beautifully with a gorgeous flame & smell. We have used it in the kitchen too (as an exception to our mostly vegan diet) and it is excellent for cooking. Happy customer.

I love the product, tastes wonderful and nice to cook with but there was no storage information on the packing, I had to look it up. It might be straightforward for some but as it’s from cows milk I was hesitant. Still not sure how long it lasts after opening ( just sure it will be gone soon anyway 😊 )

This is the best ghee I have used - tastes slightly sweet, a caramelised flavour. The smell makes you want to eat it from the jar! I avoid using vegetable oils for cooking other than coconut oil which aparts too much flavour for anything other than thai dishes. I love cooking in butter but it burns so ghee is the answer. Wonderful to fry steaks. Recommended.

I've been ordering another organic ghee for the past few months which I absolutely love. I can literally spoon it out of the jar it's so good. However, seeing the rating for this ghee and that it won an award last year, I thought I'd give it a try - expand my horizons. Liquid dripped out the moment I opened it and underneath it looks like it's curdled. It's probably alright for cooking and I'll use it up in casseroles, but would I buy it again - NO. I will be buying the other make and sticking to that in future.

The tastiest ghee I’ve ever tried, texture is like a creamy cookie I can’t describe it but I snack this on my carnivore diet and it takes away all craving, feels amazing on the stomach even with my diary intolerance, smells gorgeous too! Just wished it had 0 carbohydrates but I think this is just due to the producing method and it does smell creamy buttery! Thank you
