Makes great poached eggs
Easy to use and clean. Straightforward instructions given and takes very little time. I put the microwave on in short times, like 20 seconds at a time. Need to check the progress during cooking times. Good value.

It Sort of Works
Not really made a proper poached egg from this kit. I am still experimenting, but I have found two together is usually one well done and the other still liquid. Its okay, and is quick.

Works well…. Almost
Great idea and concept. Only issue is that as the plastic heats up it softens and the lid is no longer firmly clipped on. If an egg does choose to explode the lid comes off with it and makes a right mess in the microwave. I’m going to experiment by trying 2 minutes on ‘defrost’ setting to see if it prevents explosions. I do prick the yolk and white before starting.

Brilliant!
This little egg poacher is brilliant. Here’s what I do. 1 large egg (from the fridge) 2 teaspoons water. Egg pricked several times in yolk and white. 1 minute on full power (900w microwave) cooked perfectly for my hubby! Breakfast sorted!

Buy this if you want exploded egg all over your microwave!
Followed the instructions to a tee, tried to cook about 10 eggs in total none of which came out edible. Don't waste your money.

Very effective and easy to use!
Very useful for quickly, and easily making poached eggs. I found that 55seconds in the microwave was the ideal time for the way I like my eggs but a few trials with timing will deliver the answer that best suits. Following a simple tip from another user I use an elastic band to stop the lid popping off and this works well. Easily cleaned after use.

Easy to use and very good value
I'm really happy with this egg poacher. It was much cheaper than some of the other alternatives, is simple in design and works really well. I have a smaller 750W microwave and I found that 2m 30s on 50% power with 2 eggs gives a firm yolk. Decrease cooking time in steps of 10s if you like a runny yolk. After some experimentation I found the following process seems to work best: I grease the inside of the poacher with some vegetable oil, crack the eggs using the built in egg cracker, then add 2 teaspoons of freshly boiled water. Prick the yolks with a fork to stop them exploding. After microwaving let it sit for 1 minute to finish cooking. Then turn upside down to drain out the water through the drain holes before opening. Comes out good every time!
