These are so easy to use, much easier than clamps - I love them. They work very well for holding the metal parts in place while you weld, and the various angles make them very versatile. Wish I had gotten these sooner. I don't know what the 50 lb weight capacity rating is for, cause it only takes about 25 lbs of pull to pull them off the metal. But they are perfectly strong enough to hold anything I might be working with. Great product for a great price!

I have one of the larger size and several of the "medium" sized ones bought over time and various places when the price was right and the need was there. Based on the original ones they struck me as handy but not terrible strong. the larger one is the newest and I suspect the concept improved with age. I am working on a project where the only one that would support my work (aligned and hanging) was the larger size, and after review I ordered this pack of 4. They arrived today, and the larger and medium size both will support hanging my work for welding very capably. Not surprising given the actual weight but much better than my accumulated stock. I would not hesitate to buy these again when the need arises! the actual angles have not been measured yet.

These OFF/ON magnetic holders are great! I have used the ones that can't be shut off for years and decided to try the switchable ones when I needed to have 2 more magnets for a project I was building. The switchable ones are fantastic because you can precisely align the parts and then turn the magnets on. With the old ones it is always a struggle to get the parts aligned. because of the constant pull. I highly recommend these switchable magnets.

Well built and reasonable price. Magnets are plenty strong for most small to medium tasks.

So i got the non on/off version-- ugh--those suck.. They pick up all the garbage (grinding dust ect).. They stick to everything ... Just a pain in the ass... Picked up a set of these with the on/off and brooooooohhh.. They are great.. Turn off and nothing sticks to them-- turn them on and get to work.. I will say they dont have "omg those magnets are strong" , strength.. But they are stong enough to hold projects in place and that is all i need.. Would i buy them again? Yes -- 100000%..

Good deal but one of my magnets was mis-cut and causes accurate problems when trying to put a 90 degree piece together. The other magnets are just fine so hopefully it's a one-off problem. I do have a second package I ordered but haven't opened yet.

Good product, can't wait to try on my welding works.

Works well, not sure how much it can actually hold but I welded quite a bit and these hold up good. Have to clean splatter from the welds but thats my poor wire lol.
