Great upgrade for any bike
I’m surprised they offer a known name brand brake setup for such an affordable price.. This hydraulic rear brake is incredible. The cable is plenty long for a few wraps and it looks good! Install was easy, it came pre-bled, came with the install bolts, and works great. Time will tell how durable it is, but so far it’s a huge upgrade from my cable brakes. It’s nice to spin my bars and not change how my brakes function on my dirt jumper.

Nice upgrade
Upgraded the mechanical disc brakes on my son’s Ozark Trail FS2 with these, front and rear. Super nice and crisp, great stopping power, highly recommend for the price. These come sealed and bled and ready to use, but if you need to do internal frame routing you will need to cut the lines, re install compression fittings and bleed, so just make sure you are comfortable with that process if needed.

Great entry level brakes at a good price
I replaced older Avid Elixir brakes with these and I'm very happy. They are smooth and quiet and have similar stopping power to the Elixirs. I also like the ease of bleeding. At first they did not seem to stop the bike as quickly (as the Elixirs) but there was a significant improvement once they were bedded in.

Full rear hydraulic disc brake to caliper adapter in 1
Shimano rear brake completed. I would give it 5 stars but does not come with mounting hardware at all. Requires cantilever hardware to mount to your caliper adapter. Other than that, plug and play.

Excellent Budget Hydraulic Bicycle Brakes
I bought front and rear Shimano MT201 brakes for my home-built recumbent trike. The trike originally used cable operated disk brakes. I created too many cable bends when routing the brake lines which in turn meant a lot of braking force was required. The Shimano hydraulics were an amazing improvement. MUCH less braking effort was required and the braking forces were better balanced. If I ever build another recumbent I will use these brakes.
