As Good As Most Gym Bikes
I've waited till I've done a few hundred kilometres to do a review and have not found anything in that time to lessen my enthusiasm for this excellent machine. A bold claim perhaps, but - apart from programmed rides which I never used anyway - the ride really is as good as gym bikes. OK, the data is a bit basic, and the pulse meter takes a while to catch on, but the functionality is there and the experience is the same. The price has gone up quite a bit since I bought mine six months ago, but with excellent build quality, ease of assembly and the ride experience it's still good value for money. I searched for a while till I found this - the 110kg load was a factor for me - and it is just as good as claimed in the description. I'm not much good at assembling stuff sometimes, but this was very easy and I did it alone without the need for any "can you give me a hand with this please?" Light enough to lift easily in and out of the corner in the spare room, it's small enough that I've never even bothered to find out whether you can fold it up, but I think you can. Check out the description if you want to do that, but it is unobtrusive with a minimum footprint that won't get in the way. The sealed crank unit is smooth, and though I mainly want to "twiddle" (ancient cycle racing term) you can add to the difficulty and it still rides smoothly. Some older machines tended to be jerky when you did that, but this one remains silky smooth. I've tried - believe me I've tried - to find something I don't like or that isn't right to put in this review but I honestly can't. Brilliant - nice to buy something which meets expectation in reality and not just on paper!

An excellent bike, especially for the price.
An excellent bike, especially for the price. I looked at similar style folding bikes in Argos, but a lot of people were complaining they were too small if you are over 5ft. I was recommended this F-Bike as it claimed it was suitable for those upto 6ft 1 and it did not disappoint! I'm just under 6ft and the bike is the perfect size for me (even with the seat height on the medium setting). Very easy to assemble, comes with all the nuts and bolts and includes the tool and easy instructions. Very sturdy and all the metal parts feel premium quality built to last. It has a good resistance level, although I couldn't really tell much difference between levels 1 through 7, it goes upto level 16 though which resembles a decent uphill incline. Back rest is a great feature and the computer has all the stats you'll ever need (even has a phone holder too!) My only issue is the seat comfort, even after upgrading it to a foam one since the previous model, it's still uncomfortable and you'll start to notice it after about 5km. I'd recommend getting a gel pad cover or something. Other than that, it's awesome! It's as quiet as a mouse, smooth, compact and easy to move around. I definitely made the right choice with this purchase.

Solid bike, does the trick if you are not an athlete.
I've had this bike for a couple of months now. I use it most days for 20 minutes to make up for missing my walk to and from work. I was walking 6 miles a day so was in reasonable physical shape although if someone told me to run for my life I'd just tell them to get it over with. Setup was straightforward. I took just under an hour with me taking my time making sure I was getting it right (needed a magnifying glass to see some of the diagrams clearly). The finished product is very sturdy, quiet to use (I watch a sitcom while peddling away, no problems hearing it), and folds away nicely. It is very heavy and awkward to lug around though so don't plan to store it far away from where you intend to use it. When I started using this bike I was surprised that I had to put the resistance setting on max to feel any benefit- I thought that was something I would have to work up to. I'm 50 and I've not actually ridden on a bike for the last 30 years so I expected dead legs that wouldn't carry me up stairs after the first few uses. Instead I had a "good" ache in the muscles but nothing dramatic. If you are a cyclist already you might well want to look for something that offers a higher resistance challenge. I found that the heart rate monitor worked well to begin with but not so well lately. I have a theory that the sensor contacts on the handlebars need your hands to be warm and possibly slightly damp to work - wasn't a problem when I was first using the bike in hot weather. Now it is a bit colder I found that the sensor often doesn't work until I've nearly finished my session. The solution that I have found is to exhale a warm breath on the handle sensors at the start. Overall I'm very pleased with the bike - the plastic "computer" couldn't look any cheaper and the slightly dodgy heart rate sensor are annoying - but it does the trick.

Really very good.
This is an excellent small footprint exercise bike for people who don’t have a lot of space. I ordered it for my flat for rehab on an ACL injury. It is very easy to assemble, is sturdy and is actually pretty attractive. It is also light enough to move around easily. As exercise bikes go, the seat is comfortable. There aren’t any exercise programs on the tiny computer but it tracks your speed, distance, heart rate, etc. All the normal stuff. The tablet holder works really well. The pedal position is a little forward of the seat which is a little different and you are not pushing directly down on the pedals. However, I still feel it through my quads and knee as needed. Size-wise…. I’m 6ft and I have the seat at the max height so if you are taller it might not be suitable. Anything under 6ft is fine. The first couple of sessions saw the right pedal begin to unscrew after a while but once I really got it tightened up it wasn’t an issue. All in all a great purchase.

Different LCD display to that on the product page. Advertised as having 8 resistance levels but has 16. Levels 1 -12 are all basically the same minimal resistance, only levels 13 to 16 offer a noticeable increase in resistance. Also the handle bars are black instead of mint, saddle fully black but that doesn't matter to me. Easy to assemble and quiet enough. It's similar to, but not the item that is advertised.
