ExtendBar Extend Protein Bar, Yogurt and Berry 1.48 Ounce

The ExtendBar is a nice tasting bar for berry lovers (it's mostly strawberry flavor). It's a soy protein crisps base covered in a thin yogurt paste (not opaque) and with a `jelly` layer; the combination of texture is quite interesting. As a snack, it's quite filling (and makes me drink tons of water after, making my stomach feeling full), but I'll get hungry again in ~2 hours.At 9 grams of protein for 150 calories, I wouldn't necessary call it a protein bar (there are many options at ~15 grams for 150-170 calories). The ingredient list isn't the cleanest, but I'm also not a fan of sugar alcohols. It's a good snack from time to time, but I have other favorites that I rely on regular basis.I like that I got to try this with the Amazon sampling program, just to try the flavor and product. But the sample came in an envelope bag and the bar as somewhat squished during transport.

This is one of the nastiest things I have ever tasted. I would not even try this again.

I'm saw the sample offer and bought one of each flavor. all of them were awful. might have been old stale inventory. hard and horrible taste.i have no intention of buying again. i intend to use this review on all the ones i tried
