Strong adhesive.
Work great But be aware. Takes some effort to remove using hot hair dryer. Will pull of laminate or wallpaper Best if placed in an area you are absolutely right about.

These are wonderful. They don't come off like suction cups do. I use this for the sponge holder in my sink and it's held up well.

replacement for missing strip
they seem to be working fine. These were purchased for a shelf I purchased from Amazon, that came with one adhesive missing, so I could not use with only one strip had to purchase another

Doesn't stick at all.
Purchased these so I wouldn't have to use nails on the wall to hang a few small wire shelves in my kitchen. One had two rolls of paper towels in it and the other had two small boxes of ziplock sandwich bag boxes in it. Neither one very heavy and they fell four times off my wall. Don't believe the advertising. It doesn't stick well at all, such a waste of money.
