Used for a science fair project
I used this with a student's science fair project-- the UV detector picked up the highest UV rating with a blacklight bulb. The student measured UV on the other side of a pane of glass with different sunscreens on the glass. Great product! Simplifies UV measurement quite a bit.

Great deal for price
Excellent for the price! I purchased this for a science project. We'd had a different brand that was okay, but this UV meter is much better. No, it's not the greatest UV reader on the planet, but for the price and the purpose of an elementary science fair project, this product is great!

It's a toy, Run away!
Super inaccurate, feeling so terrible that some people such toy in the market. In a normal cloudy day it shows 9 and 10 UV index, really?? Th value jumps ups and down quickly too. Save your money and time

Many unwanted features
This unit has a lot of functions that I do not want or need. I don't need the clock or the date display, and I totally HATE the alarm. All it will do for me is waste the batteries. You can't turn it off, so that will drain the battery too. All I wanted was a UV meter, not a battery-wasting, oversized watch.
