After spending much too long on comparing almost identical cables, I opted for this one and it works perfectly. Probably won’t change lives but does what it says on the tine.

Before l brought this l had to borrow one from a friend who had paid 3x the price for his. I'm a few weeks in and l've seen no difference whatsoever as yet. I let him know now and then.

Works perfectly, but VERY fiddly to fit to the monitor. The size wasn't a problem but tightening the two screws is almost impossible (and I have small hands) there are no screwdriver slots - as on the PC end. Luckily I had a pair of miniature long nosed pliers that did the job....just. An eighth of a turn at a time I would add!

This was perfect for my requirements. The connections fitted well and it feels well made

This cable is inexspensive and works well, driving a VGA monitor input from a DVI output port on a graphics card. The cable and connectors seem well made, they fit nicely and connect securely with retaining screws.

Les connecteurs sont solides et le câble est suffisamment long pour une installation propre. Ce que j’ai apprécié Les connecteurs plaqués or sont bien finis et s’insèrent fermement dans les ports. Le câble est épais, solide et ne donne pas l’impression de fragilité. La longueur de 1,8 m est idéale pour relier un PC à un écran sans tension sur les ports. Le serrage par vis côté VGA assure une bonne stabilité. Le câble est bien blindé, ce qui limite les interférences. Ce qu’il faut savoir (important) Le DVI‑D est numérique, alors que le VGA est analogique. Ce type de câble ne fonctionne que si la source DVI prend en charge la sortie analogique, ce qui n’est pas le cas de toutes les cartes graphiques modernes. Si la source ne gère pas le signal analogique, il faudra un convertisseur actif, pas un simple câble. Ce que j’ai moins aimé Pas compatible avec les cartes graphiques récentes qui n’envoient plus de signal analogique via DVI‑D. L’image peut être limitée à du 1080p selon l’écran VGA utilisé. Pas de notice expliquant les limitations DVI‑D → VGA, ce qui peut induire certains acheteurs en erreur. Pour qui c’est idéal Pour connecter un ancien écran VGA à un PC ou appareil dont le port DVI‑D supporte l’analogique. Pour les installations bureautiques simples. Pour réutiliser un écran secondaire sans investir dans un convertisseur actif. Pour les environnements où un câble long et robuste est nécessaire. Verdict Un câble DVI‑D vers VGA bien construit et fiable, à condition que la source DVI prenne en charge le signal analogique. Très bon rapport qualité‑prix pour ceux dont le matériel est compatible.
