Discovery Kids Rocketship Projection Alarm Clock

We purchased this alarm clock for out grandson for Christmas. Really is cute and he loves it. Fits on his nightstand - sized well for kids. It is battery operated and we ordered an electric adapter for it. Nice it can be used either way. Would recommend product to anyone,.

I bought this for my son's tenth birthday. He loves it! The image gets sharp if you focus the display and even displayed on my parents' ten foot ceilings in their home. DC adapter wasn't hard to find if you know what you're looking for. Love it!

I adore the concept of this, however it broke right away. I saw some bad reviews but thought I would just try it anyway. The outside packaging looked fine, but the inside looked like it had been opened and put back. The cardboard was torn and it just looked not right. I plugged it in and everything seemed to work just fine. We were all super excited! And then I went to switch the time projector, both projectors just stopped working altogether. It was sad, I haven't seen anything like this and we were really excited to have it in his 'space' room.

So I bought this for my son last Christmas and it NEVER worked properly. We can't even get the time to set- let alone use it as an actual alarm clock. It will not project images. Our boys first "fun" alarm cock is now a $30 piece of plastic that periodically flickers on and off- and we have tried countless sets of batteries. I'm now shopping for something else. If you want an adorable alarm clock that works well and is cool- try Clocky. We bought our daughter Clocky and she never oversleeps. It's loud and a bit frightening but sounds like R2D2 having a massive freakout. Cutecutecute and we've only changed the batteries once. Stupid rocket. Boo!

Projection quality is a bit weak, and the clock portion quit working pretty quickly. But if you don't expect it to last years and just to last months this is a good buy and the kids loved it!

This is used in my sons room and he loves it. The only issue seems to be with the volume of the alarm as he sleeps right through it. I cannot necessarily blame the clock for that. The projection works well and is pretty easy to focus. It can be dificult to see the time projection of you project the image at the same time, brightness issue. I would like to see an option to maintain the clock projection indeffinately. It shuts off after such a short time. My son would like to be able to look up from his bed and see the time always.

My 5 year old son LOVES this clock. He had been asking me for a clock for a long time because his friend has one. He loves space so I bought this one. He turns the display on every night.
