Works well and easy to set up. My cat smelt the food and tried to get it out but couldn't because it was time for it to pop up!

This product would be fine if you only have 1 cat and are not too fussed about the time they get fed being 100% accurate. I bought 2 of these to feed my 2 cats when I'm out and the timers in both were completely inaccurate and didn't go off anywhere near the time I expected them to. I also set both at the same time for the same time and one opened well before the other (like half an hour). Might not be an issue with cats that graze, but i have one super greedy dominant cat who managed to eat both and leave the other cat with nothing. I only discovered how off these timers were after installing a camera nearby.

Brilliant, just what you need to feed your pet if you are going out for the day and leaving your pet to fend for itself (cat). Also really useful if you don't want to have to get out of bed at 3:00 AM to provide a snack. Works well, is easy to set up and can hold a lot of food if necessary.

We feed wet only and got one of these because it has an ice pack. We use it for mid-night feeding to keep the beast at bay - also for when we take day trips. The biggest negative is the battery situation. There's no indicator that the battery is low - it'll just not open. In fact, I would bet that most people who left a review that this item doesn't work, just had a low battery, and I say that because it happened to us too. We thought it was broken until we replaced the battery. You can hear it ticking so you think it's working but it just won't open when the time comes. If you're planning to use this when you take a trip, just be sure to put a brand new battery in there before you go. With that said, it's a fine little device. It gets the job done. No the timing isn't 100% accurate as it's done by hours, but it's close enough. If I go to bed at 10pm and set it to go off in 5 hours - it'll go off AROUND 3am - and the food will still be cool. It is meant to keep the food cool for six hours - obviously that depends on how warm of an environment it's in. For us, it happens to work. But again, if you're going on a long trip, it won't keep the food cool very long. Would recommend if your needs are fairly basic.

As others have said, there is a lot of play in the timer so it's difficult to set an accurate time ( we have 2 cats so wanted to opeat the same time). The unit isn't sealed so the cats can smell the food in there and unfortunately the timer is too easy to move round so my food obsessed moggy has worked out that he can move the dial and feed himself earlier!

Got this as I have an 8 week old kitten and I work so needed something to give the midday meal. I played around with the timer first then put some food in it, set the timer and left it by my kittens normal bowl. My kitten could smell the food in there and was very excited to get in it. So when the timer went off and the lid opened he ate from there straight away. Problem solved!! A simple design but does the job brilliantly. Co es with a small ice pack for warmer months to keep the food fresh. Its a great buy, good price too.

Got this product to help with our dogs billious vomiting syndrome which means he needs to eat very frequently. This means he can be left during the day without being sick which really helps us out and makes sure we have a happy dog. It’s really easy to use and has a big enough compartment for a small meal or some treats. The small Ice pack that goes underneath the tray means food can be kept cool if needed too. The dog was scared of the noise it makes when it pops up at first but he loves it now he’s worked out how it operates.

There is no on/off switch so when not in use these have to be removed which is not easy to do and I found I had to use a pointed object to do so. The timing switch has a lot of play which makes it difficult to set accurate time. So if you need two to open simultaneously it doesn't happen and your dogs will not feed at the same time which the most hungry dog gets both or it can lead to fights. The lid is not airtight so when putting down the loaded feeder the dogs immediately try to open them. The switch is also faintly marked in white so I had to use a marker to emphasise where the arrow is. The only good thing about this device is the idea. I bought a double dish thinking it could be separated but discovered it could not so bought a second single one as I have 2 dogs that need such a dish fir their breakfasts to allow me not to have to get up early to feed them breakfast. This dish it totally useless and is a waste of money. Pretty disgusted. It does not deserve a single star.

1 h 30 min off several times so my cat had to wake me up to open it for him... Had to return it.

Cette mangeoire fait son job à savoir, distribuer de la nourriture humide à mon chat à 4h30 du matin . Mais elle est mal conçue dans la mesure où l'ouverture du clapet est assujettie à un bouton électromécanique servant de minuterie sur 48 heures : pourquoi mettre des piles alors qu'un simple minuteur de cuisine n'en a pas besoin. De plus, une minuterie sur 48 heures est très imprécise pour le réglage et pour finir, une fois le temps écoulé, le bouton continue de tourner. Il ne s'arrête pas tant que les 48 heures ne sont pas passées. De plus, le coussinet réfrigérant est loin de tenir 48 heures. Donc à déconseillr pour de la nourriture humide sur un grand laps de temps par temps chaud Attention, je n'ai pas trouvé à acheter un deuxième petit coussinet réfrigérant. De plu, la mangeoire n'est pas thermiquement isolée...

Tenia que ir 2 veces a darle la medicacion a alguno de mis gatos del chalet y esto me a solucionado la vida. Le pongo el temporizador con la comida y la medicacion y solo tengo que ir 1 vez al dia. Me va a hacer apaño este invento, lo recomiendo

I bought this for my older dog to have a snack during the day to help his acid reflux )and I didn’t need one with a camera and a microphone, lol). It worked so well that I bought a second for our other dog. It is perfect for what we needed. It is simple and easy to use and super easy to keep clean. Only 2 things are important to note: the ice pack is small and thin, so if you need fresh food to stay chilled for more than 2 hours this is not the feeder for you (we only use it for dry snacks) and when the battery is low you don’t really know, it just stops running. We use it on days we are both gone for 6+ hours and one day the first feeder didn’t open because the battery died. At a later time when we were gone overnight I put a fresh battery in to be sure it would open. I think they are great and serve the purpose well. Thumbs up. :)
