Carpentry Scribe Tool and Stud Finder

Works very well. Put masking tape on the piece you want to scribe, slide this along the wall and it scores the masking tape, so when u pull the cut part of the tape u cut, it leaves a scribe line to cut/sand to. Also has adjustable depths of cut for deeper belly’s in walls

A great product! With some painters tape you can get tight surfaces.

I like it. Works well. Compact. I was, however, extremely disappointed in build quality. It feels like a Chinese knockoff. The blade feels like you are holding 2 toothpicks. The plastic body feels cheaper than a toy car. As a tradesman I value functionality and durability and I will gladly pay the cost. This tool should be sold for less than 5 dollars.

Super easy to use and worked very well for all the scribing needs I have for the trim job I was doing. Much better than using a pencil for me. The different slots allow easy 1/16" steps in adjustment of offset. Magnetic is nice so I can always find on lid of my metal toolbox.

Works great. Should've brought one sooner.

What kind of cheese is this? This scribe costs over $30. In return you get cheap beat up plastic!

I’ve used many types, designs, and company brands of scribes. Simplicity is best for me. This design has given me the best results thus far. I am a high end bespoke woodworker, custom cabinet maker, and installer of Bulthaup systems, so precision scribes during installs are paramount. Highly recommend this. As it was recommended to me, by another high level craftsman. I don’t regret my purchase nor my results. So far is the best, only time will tell if it holds up for me.

It comes as a piece of plastic, not metal like the pictures.
