This small playpen is perfect for what I intend to use it for. (My 9 year old daughter to play with her pet hamster). I know that if "Buttercup" were left unattended for any amount of time she would escape either by climbing over or chewing through the thin mesh. But, as long as my child is in there playing with her, there is no problem. It just keeps the hamster from scurrying under the t.v. stand, or the couch etc. It is super light weight and easy to fold down and store in its provided zip-bag. It can then be stored in a drawer, or on a shelf with the other animal supplies. As I said, it is very thin and light weight. I was skeptical at first as it seems pretty flimsy, but once we got it out and set up, that seems like it will be fine. As long as it lasts a while, I will consider it a good purchase.

This was an unexpectedly great purchase! It was relatively inexpensive so I was not sure what to expect, but it has really worked well as a playpen for our single male guinea pig. He has a pretty big habitat but we wanted a place for him to come out and run around that was not just loose in the house because we have cats, and this is perfect. It's super easy to set up, easy to wipe clean, keeps him safely confined but with enough running space, and is sturdy enough that he can't escape. He has not tried to chew through it, so not sure how that would work if he did try. The only thing I would caution is that it arrives folded up tightly in a little round case and when you open it, it pops out explosively, so be careful when opening it for the first time. It did say that on the outside but I did not see the warning until afterward. It is apparently not supposed to go back into that little round case, so we just keep in folded up in a closet when not in use. I highly recommend this playpen for guinea pigs!

I am so happy with this purchase. It is the perfect size for our little guinea pig to run around and play while also being able to fit me inside so I can sit with her in it. I can fit her food, hay, hut, a tunnel, and some toys in there with her to keep her occupied for a few hours. The walls are high enough that I never have to worry about her trying to jump or climb out. It also gives her the feeling of freedom from the cage. The play pen is super easy to clean and is fairly water resistant. I have had this for almost 6 months now and it does not smell at all. I am planning to get another soon due to stains that are appearing on the bottom of the play pen but for the price of it I am really happy with the purchase. I recommend cleaning it every single time you take your furry one out to get the most use out of the product.

I got this to use as a play area for my rats so I could keep them all in one place. I have a Double Critter Nation, so what I did was to setup the play area directly next to the cage and use my external ramp to go right into the play area. That way the boys could come and go into the play area as they liked. This small animal playpen is not something that you can leave your pets unattended in because it’s not sturdy enough and they can easily chew through the mesh. It is, however, something fun that you can use as a great play area while you are watching your pets, to keep them all in one place so they don’t wander off. What I did was to fill it with things that my boys don’t normally get to play with or play on and then let them go and have a good time. So for me, it was worth the money. If you’re looking for something that can contain your pets while you’re out of the room and not watching them, I can’t recommend this playpen. It is fairly easy to fold up to put away, although I never could get it folded up as small as it was when I got it.

I use this to let my guinea pig have some running time. It’s actually a bit on the small side. It’s good for now while my guinea pig is a baby - but he will outgrow it very quickly. I like that it can be folded up and stored away - only problem is I am unable to fold it up so it sits on my floor all the time. Some instructions on how to fold it up would be great. I couldn’t see how it was folded before I opened it because it opened immediately when I took it out of the storage bag. It’s a good product for the price you pay. And the bottom is easy to clean which is a plus.

So my daughter rescued a baby duck which sounds so great in theory until you realize he won't always fit in a shoe box. Enter the animal jail for small animals. It was perfect to raise Oliver until he was big enough to go off to duck college (i.e., neighborhood duck-friendly park). Because he was a duck and we all know what ducks are great at, it was necessary still to line the bottom with puppy pads and newspaper. Even with that I would still spray with a vinegar/water mixture every day in case there were accidents that seeped through. It is very easy to maneuver and fold to get it in and out of the house for daily cleanings. It was the perfect size to give Oliver enough room and not take up too much space in our living room. It was perfect as a temporary home for Oliver and I'm sure it would work for many other small animals.

We finally had baby guinea pigs birthed in our group and decided to keep only two. I took the other two to work with me and wanted an alternative to an expensive cage. I figured I wouldn’t be able to use it for long as all our others will sometimes gnaw on their cages. And this was a good size and less than $12. So far, so good. It is easy to clean as I basically just tip it into a garbage bag. It is roomy and flexible and allows them to run and play freely. So far there are no rips or tears in it and I am going to use it for as long as I can before changing to a cage. It is a great play pen for the piggies. This is one of the best purchases I’ve ever made.

I love this pop up ball pit thingy lol. Bigger than i expected, and works well for more than just pets. I just got it yesterday, so i dont know if its actually waterproof or easy to clean but, it is perfect for my 3 yr old and his pet hedgehog. Withboth of them in it, there is still a good amount of space. And, i will also be using it for my little one as a ball pit, or for him to sit and play in or take naps in when we have bbqs. A little difficult to fold at first, but once you get the hang of it, its pretty easy. And, i love the little carry bag included.

They love it and they don't escape! Yay also waterproof so easy to clean.

Great product and exactly as shown. Pops open easily and folds right up into a storage bag when not in use. Small enough to fit in your glove compartment for travel. Although it looks plastic, it is not leak proof. My guinea pigs peed in it and it went right through the bottom so if you're using it for a critter, place a towel down underneath them. I highly recommend this product though!

I bought this for my two guinea pigs so they can have their daily floor time in the house. It pops open in seconds and is sturdy when up. The pigs have been quite happy running around in it. I bought a different one that you slot the sides together and they managed to get out of it. Plus it was fiddly so this one is much much better. Not the easiest to fold away but I just need to practice the technique! A good size and just have to wipe it down to clean. Highly recommended for small pets.
