Not as big as I remember as a kid. But still nice tin. Brings back memories

You can do better
Very disappointed in what used to be a good product. When it arrived in a sturdy box the can was dented, and about 80% of the were broken, and greasy, not what I was expecting. Definitely not the photo shown. They tasted stale. Not worth the money.

Old time chips we had as kids in the 70’s
Didn’t try the chips, but the recipient loved the gift as these brought back many grand memories of his childhood as did it mine. Glad you can still get these in a tin. A tad pricey but love the nostalgia of it.

They are great but really expensive.
This is a personal problem. I just don't need so many potato chips on hand. They taste great! What happened to the refills? I already had a can.

Just like the original
I bought this for my mother with dementia thinking the “Charlie Chip can” would bring back some happy memories. She does seem to like it! The chips are the same as I remember from the late 1970’s, and more importantly, the tin is the same. As for a review of the product, I feel in the current environment, it’s a fair deal. Nothing is as cheap as it was in the late 20th century. The tin came packaged well and the bag inside the tin was in tact without any visible crushed chips. The chips themselves have a nice very lightly salted flavor and taste fresh. I have not tried the BBQ nor the ripple chips, just the regular flat chips. The tin seems well constructed and should be very reusable. My uncle has tins from in the 1970’s, and he will “occasionally run them through the dishwasher” for a good clean. I bought a new tin for him as well 12/2022, and he plans to do the same with his new tin. I like that the metal lid for the container is well fitted, yet simple to remove. I have some arthritis in my hands, but until I went to write this review, hadn’t thought about wether it was hard to open the can. To me, that means that it’s easy to open so I did not have to think about it, I just did it. The lid does or just fall off, either. It’s just perfect. I highly recommend this, especially as a nostalgic gift for some of our “older” generations to remember the “good old days.”
