Bought this product last year in Aug and have to connect multiple times to Mac for it to work.

I bought this primarily to use with my Chromebook and an ethernet connection, and I am not disappointed. The device is well packaged, although a bit tight when sliding it out, and has a handy little travel bag. All the connections work fine, and don't seem to slow much down.

seems the ethernet connection only works at 100 MB and not 1 GB as specified, is this an issue with the adapter or with USB C?

Great product. Work brilliantly, but my laptop doesn't support display over usb c.

Didn't work at all. Tried it in 3 different laptops and a projector. Tried all the connections and not one worked. Utter rubbish, DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY.

The hub came and immediately it was obvious that the USB C Passthrough power port wasn't working properly. It detected the connection but wouldn't charge. Item returned.

The item has all 5 star reviews which seems very unusual.If you read through the reviews, it shows that some of them review the boots or clothes items rather than the USB-C hub shown on picture, which is strange.

I quickly noticed that the connections on the item were somewhat loose, showing poor build quality - but after this, the cable connection started to fall apart within a couple of weeks of use. Item returned, wouldn't buy again/get a replacement.
