New Mac Mini Late 2018 Ram/Memory Upgrade Tool Kit (Disassemble, Repair, Upgrade, Tear Down, Fix)

Used to upgrade ram in 2018 Mac mini. They were the perfect size for the specialty screws. The only other thing I needed was a small straight edge to pop open the cover on the bottom of the Mac mini and to gently pop off the antenna from the board. Other than that, a complete toolkit for the job.

Followed instructions on YouTube. This kit includes exactly what was needed. RAM upgrade is still working flawlessly after several months.If you’re new to computer repairs, don’t be too intimidated by this one. Watch the YouTube tutorials a few times and just take it slow, if you’re into tinkering at all this makes a really nice DIY upgrade.

This kit works as described and gets the job done as advertised. The only slight issue I had is the driver used for removing the RAM cage didn't fit slightly as smoothly as I had hoped, making me to force it in a bit more than I had hoped.

The metal of the screws began to be stripped away after loosening screws within the first five minutes of use. The ergonomics of the handle are very poor as well for anything that requires a tighter grip to get a tight screw out. I would definitely recommend looking elsewhere; these are cheap, to the point of being not worth your time.

I received my kit to install my memory modules in my 2018 Mac Mini. I noticed there was no spudger, no prying tools and the T10 bit was on the smallish side which nearly resulted in the motherboard screws being stripped out. I went to a local Mac shop in my area and purchased a Mac repair kit.

These worked great and I had no problem with using them. I would suggest them to someone wanting to take apart their Mac Mini 2018... or install RAM.
