Perfect Replacement Cartridge
This cartridge was a perfect replacement for the Sheaffer pen that was passed to me from my Father. Some sentimental attachment there, so I was very grateful to obtain a Sheaffer refill.

Old stock dried up
After a few weeks of using the pen, it started to skip. Perhaps this refill was sitting in the tock room for a few years and was starting to dry up by the time I bought it.

Writes smoothly, dries out far too quickly
It seems to be an orginal refill, it writes really smoothly which is the most important feature for me. But it do dry out within 2-3 months even though I'm not using it on a daily basis and if so I don't write elaborate notes, only make a to do list in a calendar. I used to buy my previous refills in Europe and they lasted me for over a year, so I'm not sure what's going on with these.
