Switch TV Dock Docking Station Compatible with Nintendo Switch/Switch OLED Model, Portable Switch Base Charging Adapter Cradle with HDMI and USB3.0 Port

I use this for 2 reasons. First, charging while playing. Second, USB port for pro controller since the Switch button configuration does not work well with adult size fingers. The unit is very compact and easy to move around compared to dock that comes with the regular Switch. It works perfectly when displaying regular Switch on the TV or other display via HDMI. It does work with the Switch Lite in table top mode only. Switch Lite doesn't have the internal hardware to display via HDMI so only viewing option is the small screen. I would recommend getting this as a second/travel dock if you play in different rooms in the house.

Got to replace a burned out OG dock. This one is super functional, takes up NO space, and the easy access port on the side works really well for wired controllers. My kid likes that it doesn't cover the screen, as well.

This is a nice travel companion or an add-on for a second TV. Has a button to switch from TV to console viewing. Works with all accessories that we have plugged into it. Quick and easy setup. I haven’t noticed any difference in picture quality compared to the original dock. We have put lots of hours on this dock and haven’t had any issues.

I wasn’t sure which docking option to choose, for a variety of reasons, as I only wanted a spare dock in the bedroom when I wanted to transfer from my normal gaming space. So I went with the Kahool option as it seemed to check the most boxes and I figured I’d return it if it didn’t meet standards. When I received it, the dock is so small, it can literally fit in a pocket, I was surprised. I did have to buy a separate rapid charger, and on Amazon I believe that ran me another $10-15. As for performance, the Switch slides right into place. In the two weeks I’ve owned it, I’ve moved my Switch between docks at least 5-6 times and it so far is holding up really well. There is an on/off button which gives the option to turn off if your tv requires it to move between switch and tv mode. When it is on and the Switch is on the dock, the front of the dock lights up blue. Even if the tv is off, the light stays on, so either turn the dock off with the button or remove the Switch. As for picture quality, my main gaming tv is a 4k ultra 60” Samsung and the bedroom is a 4k ultra 40” Visio. The only difference between the image and sound is the tv. The Kahool holds up the same quality image and sound as the standard Nintendo dock. So far I am very happy with my choice and would recommend.

Got this because I couldn't afford an OEM dock and wanted it for occasional use. Mostly as a way to watch Hulu or YouTube as I normally play games in handheld mode. These docks lack the internal device that allows the streaming of videos, and I found that out the hard way away from home when settling down to try to watch Hulu for the night- which the dock would not allow. Now, ridiculous copyright laws that inconvenience people more than anything else are also to blame here, but I'd kind of expect companies making these types of things to be aware of that and provide the proper hardware to get full use of the system. Disappointed. Would just recommend against this dock entirely. Bite the bullet and get the OEM one as third party docks run risks of bricking Switches anyway and putting you out of a couple hundred dollar game system.

So after reading reviews I was hesitant because someone had claimed their switch got damaged from it. My switch had already burned out 2 ORIGINAL Nintendo docks, which apparently is a common thing (annoying). So I was nervous mine wasn’t going to interact well with a non Nintendo product. BUT so far so good!! It does exactly what it says it will do. The quality is great, and the price is even better (a new NS dock is $70). It doesn’t come with any wires, but that’s fine bc I just used my original switch wires and it was perfect. Really glad I took the chance on it. Couldn’t be happier! Update: 9 months and counting, still works great!

I got this for my switch after the dongle I got from Best Buy made my TV screen flicker. I was hoping it wasn't a problem with my switch itself (or my TV) as it was playing normally when undocked. Lo and behold I plugged this in and it works amazingly! It's also nice that it has a stand as some of the other ones just have you lay the switch down on either a counter or the floor which I personally wouldn't want to do. It's also quite a bit smaller than I imagined which is a plus because the original dock is bulky and not suited for travel. 5 stars!
