I installed it in my dropped ceiling and all can say is wow The screen looks great and is very quite. Goes down slow but that is okay. Picture looks great. Great purchase. The screen I use was the v max pro 106. It's big. Keep in mind you do need 12 inch drop The screens only come with a 24 inch drop This is because the screen is about 8 inches above the opening. Nice set up.

I bought the trim kit to install in our soon to be theater. First off, the quality is not that great. Their's is a seam in the middle because you have to connect both bars in place because it comes in pieces. Any movement and it frame bows. Very poor design. The direction as to how to install is none existent. Not sure why they included in the packaging. You are on your own as far as assembly is concern. I really shoud have returned it but we were to far in the installation process. I would not recommend this product.

i purchased this product with intent to install this in my basement ceiling joist which are 2x8's. had no problem with this setup. where i did have issues was they send the long brackets in 2 seperate pieces and it came with hardware however none on the wholes lined up and i had to drill holes out to make work. Also the center is kind of flimsy i wish it had brackets in the middle to help support it.for the price of the screen and the price of the kit all in all it doesnt look terrible

This was a complete waste of money. The kit is poorly designed and the instructions are incomplete and difficult to follow.When we finally got it up there, it looked cheap and ugly. We ended up just scraping the whole thing and getting our own trim from Home Depot. I wish I would have saved the 140 bux...

Everything is as described. Very nice.

It fits right into the grid for drop ceilings. Easy to install. Once it's installed you can't even see it. It gives a polished look to the room.

I would suggest this product for a drop ceiling only. I could not see an easy way to install the product in our ceiling and properly attach it to the rafters in our attic.

They make this so that it will fit many projectors. However the flanges that are to be at the opening have only a minor amount of space. almost making it impossible to install the drop ceiling panels in place. We worked it out. I think they need to reloop on the design and make it more robust.The long pieces that you put together; one set mated fine the other set left a gap in the middle. There is nothing to support the middle of the escutcheon so if you had the two ends bound at an angle - the thing will bow. - Kinda stupid looking.
