Cats like it and the ingredients aren't as terrible as a lot of the other cat foods in the same price range. I feel pretty good about feeding my cats this and they all eat it. They prefer the salmon over the chicken. Smells like regular old cat food. It does have those little pieces in it that's supposed to be real meat.

When my kibble-junky was diagnosed with osteonecrosis of the jaw, we tried every soft food known to man. Then we tried every kibble under the sun. Finding Tender Selects was a dream come true. A cat who had lost an alarming amount of weight proceeded to put on a, well, alarming amount of weight. It's soft enough for him to chew and tasty enough for him to beg for more. Switching him from his prescription diet made me nervous, but he had zero stomach issues (or other issues). Thanks to Tender Selects, he has his quality of life back.

I switched my two cats (ages 8 and 9) to Purina ONE Tender Selects with Real Salmon about two months ago after dealing with occasional soft stools and small, frequent poops on their previous food. The difference has been clear and consistent. Within the first couple of weeks, their poop became firmer, better-formed, and much less frequent — usually one or two well-shaped stools per day instead of several smaller or messier ones. No more loose messes in the box, and the odor is noticeably milder too. They both like the flavor (they eat it eagerly without needing toppers), and the kibble size is perfect — not too large for them to crunch. The real salmon as the #1 ingredient seems to agree with their stomachs, and I appreciate that it’s a natural formula without artificial colors or flavors. The 22 lb bag is great value — lasts a long time for two cats and stays fresh when stored properly. This is the first dry food in a while that’s made a real, positive difference in their digestion and litter box habits. They’re doing great on it, and I’m sticking with this one. 5 stars — highly recommend if your cats have sensitive or inconsistent digestion.

Our Maineoon LOVES this food. We have a hard time finding food that he likes thats actually healthy. Most of the grain free food that is higher quality apparently tastes like cardboard because he won't eat it. But he actually likes this one. Its a good value, less than half the cost of the previous food we were using. The quality seems good. Its easy to load and works with our automatic feeder. He has no problem chewing it either. So good "chewability." Its not exactly grain free, but much less filler than others. The main ingredient is salmon, followed by rice. Both of which are better than the corn fillers that are the main ingredient in many others. The food is hard, but mixed with soft, dried salmon pieces, which our cat adores. So all things considered, it, good value, good quality, but some fillers... so take that as you will.

I purchased food because it has better ingredients than a lot of the other foods and my cat loves this food it is a little more expensive but I think it's worth it if you love your cat

I was surprised, but my two picky cats love this dry cat food! I can even feed it to them like cat treats. It must taste yummy otherwise they would sniff or taste it & then turn their noses up & walk away. I like to use it as special treats as it’s less expensive than small treat packages, & it’s also made with premium ingredients. My cats love it!

I trust Purina One. I have an antique cat and he does quite well on this food. When he gets ahold of other cheaper food, bleckkkk he puked. Is great on his stomach. He loves eating it, he will come from outside and run straight to this food bowl.

I tried several brands of dry food and this one by far is my cats’ most favorite one! How do I tell? They always finish it - not even one piece left in the bowl. Also when I fed them with another brand and had this one arrived - they bit the bag when I wasn’t around to get to their favorite food!
