Sofia the First Ready to be a Princess: Book and Magnetic Playset

keeps my preschooler busy for hours! my 3 yr old loves sofia and this game is perfect. The magnets don't "stick" very well so everything winds up on the floor but she doesn't mind.

My 4 year old loves anything "Princess Sofia". When you open the case, the right hand side of the case is magnetic so you put one of the scenes down and then place the magnetic pieces (a BUNCH of them) and make a scene. This seems to be the new paper dolls of the millennium. :) I would have liked for the left hand side to be magnetic to hold the pieces that are not being used, we have put them in a ziploc and they fit in the case. A stronger magnetic pull and something to hold the pieces in would have earned this a 5.

This was a very nice set. Some of the pieces are too tiny for young hands. Very easily lost.

This was a great idea BUT..... Ok, really liked the playset which came with 2 small Sophia Princess' books, magnetic punch outs of princesses, fairies, and an assortment of items. Plus, 6 (3 front/backs) scenes for the kids to put the magnets on. However, the scenes are just on plastic cards. The magnet characters and items just slide off the scenes. So exactly why did the items be magnetic?????? The carrying case is plastic, books are like the scenes. Nothing in the playset is magnetized except the punch outs. Am I missing something????

Do not waste your money on this item. The idea is great. My oldest children (ages 5 and 3) have already loved magnetic play scenes. We have several Create-A-Scene Magnetic Play Scene by Patch Products, and they have always been great in restaurants, church, or even at home. This Sofia version PALES in comparison. Some of the magnets are teeny tiny, and none of them stick to magnetic side of the book.... yes, only one side of the "book" is magnetic, and it has barely any magnetic strength, especially when it has to stick through a thicker background scene. Truthfully, it just frustrated my daughter that it wasnt working "like her other ones". I know that the appeal is Princess Sofia, but if a quality magnetic playset is what you are after, this is not it.

Granddaughter loved it! So nice they can play role with moveable magnets and board scenes to go with it!

My granddaughter is absolutely in love with this playset.! She plays with it a lot, and her friends really like it too !! Fun for all the girls !!

What I liked is magnets to play with. What I disliked is that books don't help in reading. And the stories are small. overpriced

As I said before I only received the wee book and it was a bit bent. Not really worth taking photos. I did not receive What was described.
