I really like this product. This product has only been in use for about four (4) days. However, it works as described in less than a week. It is a good thing I purchased a 6 pack. We have used DampRid products in several forms in our Southwest Florida home for 37 years. It is almost always hot and humid here, posing a constant threat of mildew, mold and rust. If you don't stay on top of things you can find your possessions ruined from high humiture. This particular size is perfect for using in my two old Porsches kept in the garage. When they reach their limit of protection I just swap them out with new units. Easy, cost effective, and they deliver as promised.

Used this product in my master bath where dampness can be an issue, worked well and got rid of musty odors. Also use it is laundry area to keep it fresh smelling and the dampness absorbed. We live by the ocean so humidity can be a problem when doors are closed to certain areas, this helps immensely. At first the scent can be pretty strong but dissipates quickly. I have to shake the containers occasionally to loosen the granules and allow the product to work better. Did not need so many containers though so next time will just buy fewer items.

I've tried other, similar (generic) products but nothing compares to the original DampRid. It is easy to use (just spill out flakes) and it soaks up the humidity. Easy to dispose of by throwing out the container, or empty and refill. The fragrance is noticeable, so make sure to order in in a smell you don't mind having around in a room. It lasts for at least a couple months. The only drawback is it's gotten expensive over the years, but, ultimately, it's worth it. Highly recommended.

A great product. Live in A rental where the owner doesnt want to redo the bathroom because to mildew damage. I bought these to eliminate odor and absorb mildew and it has been working great. Doesnt fix my bathroom problem but eliminates the nasty smell

Living in an older home with no bathroom vents and unwanted moisture, I ordered this sweet pack of DampRid. This stuff works like a dream. It aborbs excess moisture in my bathroom and in my husband's bathroom. All you have to do is wait for it to fill up, the dump the moisture into the toilet and flush, voila. I'm partial to the lavender vanilla smell and not a fan of the more floral option, but this product is amazing. I can imagine it would be great under sinks or anywhere needed.

These are taking a while in my closets to collect moisture which may be a good thing in 3 wks. I really purchased them for the fragrance aspect which I personally would like stronger. I love good smelling closets that leave clothes light lavender or downey fresh scented. Therefore, I can finally comment on the fresh scent which I received in error. It does have a scent unlike many people who posted otherwise to my question. For anyone who wants to know like me, the scent is like baby powder fresh (maybe a light floral~hard to express) but masked with a light moth ball type scent that I do not like. I prefer the hanging lavender damprid that smells amazing in my opinion & works extremely well especially in my bathroom. I'm going to continue purchasing these & hang them high in my closet ceilings.

If you live in an old house or are going to be gone for a long time from your house I recommend this. They really do work. My family has one of this in every closet in the house. We used to open our closets and since there was no air circulation in there we would smell this nasty humid air. Even our clothes were starting to smell weird. My dad found this randomly shopping around and now he orders some almost every two months. It has like little balls inside the bucket and as they absorb the moisture they fall to the bottom of the bucket.

It works! I have it in my basement ( I live in a very old house) and it takes all the moist front the air. The scent is noticeable but very mild.

Arrived on time and in good condition. I am using this product in a vehicle that is only used for part of the year and sits out side when not in use. I have had issues with moisture inside the vehicle over the winter months and purchased the Damprid to help. I have used 2 containers and they have worked beautifully, not only is the inside relatively dry but the Lavender and Vanilla scents are very pleasant and not over powering.

Initially i hesitated but gave it a buy. To my surprise it works like a charm.

I wasn't really sure how this product would fare, but I have been so impressed!! I would get a mild musty smell in my bathroom that lingered around the hamper where my dirty towels would sit for a few days (before laundry day). I put a pack of DampRid next to my laundry hamper and the musty smell is gone!! Love this product!!
