Great with the Crosman 1377
This is a nice inexpensive scope that's perfect for air guns. I have mine on a Crosman 1377. I love it. It fits the dovetail on my metal breech and locks down tight and solid. I can put pellets trough the same hole at 15 yards all day long. Update: I just ordered another one of these for my 2240. I've been reading the reviews again and can't believe the ignorance of some of the negative reviews. This fits dovetail mounts only-- NOT weaver, NOT picatinny. It's an airgun scope, NOT airsoft with weaver or picatinny mounts. It's only 4x20 magnification. It's NOT meant for 1000 yard shots on a SKS, Mosin, or any high power rifle. Here are the clearly stated intended uses/specs/etc right off the listing (my caps): Tactical 4x20 air scope compatible with AIR GUNS Multicoated lens ensure crisp, bright image 26.2-foot field of view @ 100 yards Plex reticle; 2.5 INCHES OF EYE RELIEF DOVETAIL RINGS MOUNT; measures 7.88 inches Wow. This poor little scope is taking a beating because people can't read or won't do their homework. It's a nice little scope which works great with air pistols like the Crosman 1377, 1322, 2240, etc with a metal breech, or lower powered pump/co2 rifles like a Crosman 1077. It isn't suitable for high power/low recoil rifles due to low magnification. It's unlikely hold up under the recoil of springers or high power guns.

for $20 its what you would expect.
This scope is crap. But For $20 bucks I was expecting that and it works perfect for my beater plinking 22. It looks cheap, feels cheap, not very sharp or bright and if you drop it it will probably break, but once again its a $20 scope. It seams accurate and has held zero so far.

Wouldn't be good on a cap gun
I purchased this after the scope that came on my Storm XT pellet rifle busted. To start with this thing looks like it belongs on a kids cap gun its only 8 1/4" long and about 7/8" wide at its widest. It says its for a .22 caliber rifle and Air guns ( maybe Air pistol) this is not something you put on an Air Rifle. But you get what you pay for. There is absolutely no adjustments. It states that you can rotate the eye piece section for clarity but to me it did nothing. It is now and I can honestly say an absolute piece of junk and a total waiste of $8.00 yea you get what you pay for. One bad thing is that it sits so low that your front sight is about all you see and after putting it on the cross hairs were aiming so far to the left that I had to turn the adjustment to the right over 2 full turns then I got within 1 foot of a target less than 25 feet away but again its hard to even see where your aiming because all you see is your front sight on the rifle and this scope isn't worth me ripping off my front sight. Steer clear of this one folks buy something that at least looks like a scope. Lesson learned.

It is what it is.
This is not a bad scope, but it isn't a great scope either. How well this scope performs depends on what you're looking for. DO NOT buy IF: -You have a gun with recoil. It simply can't handle it. It can take a few shots(about 15-25 on my Crosman Phantom)until it loosens up and all the time you spent zeroing it in turns to dust. -You're looking for long range. This is not a long-range scope by any means, I'm sure you figured that out yourself from the specs listed in the product description. It says 'compact' for a reason. Visibility is clear, but limited. If anything, it almost makes objects look farther away than they really are. But that could just be me. -You're looking for a scope to hunt with. You're better off with iron sights. If you're looking for a scope to hunt with, find one with a larger diameter, you'll need all the visibility you can get. Buy if: -You want a cheap and easy-to-install scope. As I said above, do not buy this product if your gun recoils. However, this scope is a great fit for an air rifle such as the Daisy 880 (any rifle that you have to pump air in order to fire ammo.) It's great for plinking with this scope, that's about it.

It's a $10 dollar scope - not a $100 dollar scope
First - it's a good bargain, this much is hard to argue. It mounts easily, and is very easy to adjust. The viewing apparatus makes it hard to focus your eye in our your target, just comes with the territory of the entry level scopes. The crosshair is actually really nice - it's a basic + and is easy to line up. I mounted this on my BB gun - and being a BB gun it's not that accurate to begin with - sighting the scope was fairly simply as the adjustments are good. 3 stars = "It's okay" - 4 stars = "I like it". Kind of a 3.5 star! Pros: Cheap, effective, mounts/de-mounts easily Cons: It's cheap ;), plastic, hard to get your eye at a good angle for viewing

seriously, for the money an incredible value (installed on Daisy 880)
I recently purchased the scope for my new Daisy 880 air gun. Folks, this scope costs less than my last sandwich at Jimmy John's (well, including chips and drink). The scope is well made, includes mounts, has adjustment screws to sight it in, and it works great ... seriously, what more could you possibly expect at this price range? Certainly for any inexpensive air gun, this scope is a perfect match, at least for my Daisy 880. Zero complaints, absolutely thrilled!

go elsewhere
Scope is tiny! While I knew that the scope would be tiny I was still unimpressed when I took it out of the packaging. I bought this to be mounted to an old 22 rifle to rid my back yard of squirrels who are eating my gardens. This scope wouldnt mount. The included rings were tiny. I knew this might happen reading the other reviews, but for the cheap price I was willing to take a chance. In the end save your money and go elsewhere if your looking to mount on a real gun.
