Inexpensive and a good bang for your buck. The quality is decent and it works well. I plan to buy a second for a back up.

I have been using this spear for years now, only have had to sharpen it a couple of times. Its super easy to put together and hasn’t broken at all after a crazy amount of uses. Would definitely recommend for anyone doing spear fishing.

Some of the reviews for this spear state that they showed up missing the sling bungee, or with an unfinished fiberglass pole and would require some additional touches to get them to a safe working order. This was concerning, but the fact that I live on a small island and can't go down to West Marine; there aren't many other spear options online, let alone on Amazon, so I decided to give this one a shot despite the negative reviews. The spear I received came with all parts, and had a solid finish to the pole and connection points. I think the best aspect of this spear is that the heads are a nice thick gauge metal, which is great for fishing/diving around reef areas where you chance spearing into rock/coral. My friend's spear tip is maybe half the gauge of mine and after 1 day of spearing and a few rock/coral hits we have had to re-straighten/bend the points. I do not expect to be having to do that with these heads/tips. Anyway, long story short: Pole came with everything, very happy with the tips/heads, and it went together nicely. I've only been out to use it once, but so far so good. I bought some extra bungee slings as they tend to wear out over time. But, very happy with a 4' pole and 3 heads for this price point, especially with it all showing up in good working order. Also, the carrying bag is a nice little add on as well. Thanks guys, hopefully you've fixed your finish issues for the rest of your potential customers.

A++++++ Kids Spear Guns for Fishing!!! I actually purchased x2 of these while on a trip to Florida. One for each of my sons. They arrived fast and shipped straight to my hotel in FL because they were too big/oversize to send to the nearby Whole Foods Market. I was thrilled they also fit nicely into my big checked-suitcase. 5 STARS!!!!!

Very sturdy and you can't beat the price!!! Easily fits in a scuba bag and the three spear heads are GREAT!!!

Absolute trash of an item, band ripped within 1 minute of using it.

The spear points are nice quality but the pole part has a couple issues that make it unuseable if not fixed. The middle connector is larger diameter than the fiberglass and the leading edge of the stainless connecter is almost sharp and needs to be rounded or something so it isnt rough when it slides thru your hand, it is also riveted together and the rivet sticks out so it snags and scrapes on your hand bad if shooting. Im planning on drilling out the rivets and epoxying it together so its useable and rounding over that leading edge on the stainless. For the price paid it wasnt a bad buy with the bag, points, band, or I would send it back. As it is, I will just fix it. Shouldnt have to fix new products tho.

This is a basic pole spear that works. Kept my teenaged son and I busy off the coast of BC and we caught several fish right away. I thought the build quality was poor and the raised joint problematic- was planning to return but we brought with us on a trip to Vancouver Island and it did great. Not likely going to last a decade but will be good bang-buck and an excellent intro spear. Go get 'em!
