I have salon highlighted cool toned blonde hair and use high quality, expensive products. This works better than any purple shampoo I’ve used, no matter what the price. It also leaves my hair really soft and has never damaged the color. Most of the negative reviews for this seem to be about it not turning the hair silver enough, but if you are blonde and looking for a toner that works in one treatment, this is it. My hair is left icy but not dull. It is a miracle between salon visits.

I used this for the toner after bleaching my hair and even though it made my hair less brassy, there was no silver that came through. I left it on for an hour. I'm sure I probably messed up something during the process that caused it but this is the 2nd time I've tried using this product and it failed.

Overall, very pretty, very shiny color...saturation did not take on ANY areas that were not already incredibly porous including new root area which was freshly bleached to a 10, but still very healthy and undamaged leading to a hot root look. Overall I kind of love the look, the mids and ends that came out perfect 👌 I am thrilled, and I ordered an extra jar for a re tone of the root area which had to be kept on longer to fully saturate. So to get to the look shown I did 3 jars on whole head left on for 1.5 hrs. Then a second coat on the root/crown area, left on the 2nd day for another 1.5 hours, then rinsed, shampooed and conditioned with silver stiletto toning shampoo and conditioner and then hit with olaplex 8 mask for 15 minutes and rinsed in cool water, end result was a perfect, creamy silver and gold blond. I have been trying to get this combo for a few years now and this is as close to #GOALS as I think I can get...I am ordering another 4 jars to do a weekly tone before it's time to redo the roots again, and when I do I will leave the color on that root area much longer then the mids and ends and see if I can get it done in one full shot next time. (Used manic panic blue lightening for my root touch up this time and will use that again, as that really gave me hot white roots. ) Having said all that, TL/DR- great silver toner for a level 10 blonde, but it needs incubation time, 2 hours at least....3 hours may be the ultimate silver if you are looking for full on icy silver, but for what I wanted, 2 will likely be my sweet spot.

I used this to tone my hair after bleaching it with the Lightning bleach kit. It looks almost purple, which is normal for toning products, however I was concerned it wouldn’t work. I saw its consistency and how much coverage I was getting with each dollop and worried a bit. Although, after using it my opinion was changed. It did tone my hair, but in my particular case I had to leave it on there for longer. I was checking how toned my hair was every five minutes after I waited the amount of time recommended. It made my hair super soft and it came out easy with my hair still toned.

I dont know if its just my hair type or something that went horribly wrong during the process, but it didnt even out tone or get rid of any yellowing, just made it shiny and possibly browner. I have mixed hair, very large ringlets and so its difficult to get bleach in evenly. I dont really mind but it was annoying using the Blue Lightning Bleach Kit by Manic Panic and still not getting any even tone, but thats a different deal entirely. Because of that, my dye didnt really pop and I decided to wait 2 weeks and try again. I rebleached my already yellow hair, which lightened it a little, and then put on toner to do my best to get the yellow out. I didnt expect pure white but it didnt do a single thing. All brown strands are the exact shade of brown, all blonde strands just have a little shimmer to them and seem to have decreased in brightness. I slopped it on too, it feels like conditioner so I wanted to make sure every curl had plenty. As a result, my dye doesnt pop out and the eveness is even worse. The scent is whatever its not supposed to be great and I dont mind the texture of my hair, but my dye looks horrendous. This pisses me off further because a friend of mine with a similar hair type used a product kit that was MUCH CHEAPER and INCREDIBLY more effective. I can't say Im a fan of manic panic past the bleach and even then.

During Covid I finally went from a bleached platinum blonde to my natural gray hair. Thanks to Manic Panic, and their various colors of impermanent gray toners/dyes I was able to make this transition fairly seamlessly. The colors are mixable so you can mix the colors together to create one that suits you. Without Manic Panic I would have never been able to grow my hair out to its natural color. Additionally, Manic Panic has no bleach, or other harsh chemicals in their products and actually leave your hair feeling softer, and in better condition. I highly recommend any of their products.

I notice a lot of reviews complaining that this product didn't do anything etc. I used it to tone a friend's hair after we bleached it with 40 volume developer. It definitely neutralised the yellow tones in his hair and left it pretty close to platinum blonde. We then went in with Manic Panic Electric Pink Pussycat with fantastic results! Followed the instructions on the box closely. This will NOT work if you have strong yellow tones in your hair after bleaching. Be patient and do another round of bleach, then use this. This will also not work at all for orange tones - you are better off toning those with repeated applications of blue colour / blue shampoo. General rule - purple neutralises yellow; blue neutralizes orange. We applied the toner to hair that had been washed and dried after bleaching. Left it in for around 45 minutes then rinsed out. Make sure you saturate the hair with the toner for best results - it's hard to gauge since it's a pale colour on pale hair but just go in with more than you think you need and you should hit the right amount :D Unfortunately toners like Wella's colour charm series aren't available that easily in India so this is what we need to make do with. But I'd say it does the job if you use it on sufficiently pre-lightened hair, saturate, and leave in for 30-45 minutes.

I adore this. It removed all the brassiness and yellow tints in my bleached hair. The only issue is that it's a tad small, but they mention it anyway. I recommend purchasing 2 if you have medium-long hair

Works as a very mild version of a toner on bleached hair only and that too wasnt noticable. Trying the Slate color by Crazy Color and hopefully that will be an actual gray color!

Almost no effect. Wouldn't buy again. I didn't even expect it be grey, but I expected a dull color. It almost have 0 effect

Waste product, result zero, request every buyer not to waste there money on buying this product.
