I bought these speakers because they had a good price and high watts, I like to play my music LOUD every once and a while and so I wanted to make sure that the speakers won't blow out on me like my last ones did, well first off these speakers sound great, it has a crisp sound that doesn't get all muffled when you turn the volume up, second they give off a pretty good little bump for not having an amp attached and just running off the radio, the price was a reason i was skeptical about these being good speakers, but they've been working very well for the week that i've been "testing" them out, a set back was that these speakers didn't fit like amazon says they would, i had four 6.5inch speakers in my car that were factory speakers, when i took the two back ones up and lined these up with the holes i found them to be slightly too small for the back, when trying to match them up with the front speakers which sit in my doors they looked to match up better but i wasn't about to take my door panels off my car in this cold ass weather and since the weather outlook wasn't too good i wanted to get my speakers in right away so i kinda ghetto fied the speakers into the back where two of the screws line up but the third one is slightly too far and the fourth one i had to put the screw on the outside of the speaker just to make sure it would move or rattle, i have a 95 camaro and i'm deciding later to get slightly bigger speakers and put them in the back and switch these to the front, also i think i read that someone said these light up blue? i'm not sure if i read that right but these don't seem to light up, they still look good though and sound great, overall i would recommend these to someone looking for good speakers for a good price but just make sure you really measure up before getting these to see if they're the right size

I needed a pair of small speakers for my boat - the speaker that are in the boat are mounted at ankle level and do not cast the sound to your ears - especially over the sound of the water and engine. SO I was looking at a small footprint speaker - small in size and in depth. For less than 20 bucks I took a chance on these speakers. Took a piece of wood and drilled the proper hole and then made a 3D "cup" to cover the rear of the magnet, 4 sturdy zip ties and it is held nicely into place. Pros simple size and simple install sound is ok, not the absolute best, but you cannot expect this size speaker to be fantastic anyway. Does produce a good mid and high - Cons Bass was distorted once pushed - and the head unit is rated at 40 w per channel - and if bass boost is on, it will distort badly - however, this may be the fault of the head unit being pushed at a high level. This mount is unique - IF I have to lower the bimini top - I will have to cut the 4 zip ties....but I do not lay the bimini down anyway, and if I have to do so, I build in a quick male/female disconnect to aid in the take down. I took the 25' deck boat out and stood in the middle, left of the seat and the sound was fantastic!!! Loud enough and clear enough to do the job, and all for 20 bucks, Shoot if they only last a year - well worth the price!!!

Sound great and work as expected. 4 stars because there is no screws or clips to affix the speaker covers to the speaker. They provide some tar-like substance to mash the two together. Really not happy with that and (for me) didn't work very well.

Great little speakers! Used it on a Bluetooth cooler project and it worked great for my application. Also a great price, great fit and super easy to hook up.

I bought these speakers as a replacement for my factory speakers in my 98' Jeep Grand Cherokee. The reviews from this site and the price point were big deciding factors as to why I pick this particular brand and model. After I installed the speakers and started using them, they initially sounded good, very good particularly in the mid to upper sound range. Maybe a little too bright, but with a few adjustment of the EQ made them just right. Not much bass, but this is to be expected with a speaker of this size. It didn't take long for one of the speaker to develop a nasty rattle. Whenever bass is sent to that speaker it rattles terribly. The rating of 360watts of power handling is WAY overstated. I had the speakers hooked up to a few year old Pioneer head unit and it started coming apart. So I looked at sending it back to Pyle for warranty replacement and they require that you pay $15 for return shipping. Since that is more than half of the current price per speaker, looks like I'm stuck with a busted speaker. Great sound for the money. Replaced the blown non functional OEM speakers in my 01 Silverado extended cab. Works like a champ!!
