Well made tweeters for the price. I am impressed with these as an audiophile. I have 4 of them on my 120volt home system and they are loud when amplified and crossovrd correctly as they should be. 150 watts rms, I dont know, Pyle I think overrates their specs, but dont worry about power ratings...worry about protecting them with not just an electronic crossover, but a passive one as well. Absolutely essential. My crossover is at 2khz and my passive crossover is audiophile grade with huge capacitors and a lightbulb. This tweeter actually comes with a capacitor for protection, looks small though, not sure what it can do since I bypassed it with my passive crossovers. Ferro fluid cooled voice coil as well, these super tweeters are that, SUPER. Just remember everybody, the best tweeter out there with the highest power handling will still fail if not protected by crossovers, mark my words....electronic and passive crossovers necessary with mids/highs when highly amplified.

Excellent tweeters I use them as replacement for my burned ones in a bookshelf speakers. It depends entirely on you in your likes of high notes if you leave the included capacitor in it or not. I'd rather not : I get better higher crispier detail on the cymbals and guitars. The only minor detail I had is that nowhere in the specs the dimension of the magnet is listed : Had to bore the speakers because most fo the factory installed tweeters on bookshelf speakers have a very small magnet, but by listing the magnet diameter one could make a decision if I'd prefer to bore the speaker to make this tweeter fit or not. I decided to do so, but someone out there could differ

I definitely wouldn't put 300w on these tweeters as they would melt. Its probably more like 30w-50w max RMS. That aside they actually work brilliantly, with the correct crossover, clean crisp sound and more than enough volume for any standard setup. Pleasantly surprised for the price and mixed opinion of Pyle products. They are well made, very sturdy and the coils can even be replaced or upgradedshould you need to. I wouldn't bother with the provided filter capacitor, its just there so you don't blow them if you connect without a crossover. Because of this would say that the setup requires a bit of know how or some research to get the best from this tweeter. I'm glad i bought theese they work great, I would definitely buy again
