It's so expensive but a little goes a long way. It's tasty and had a good clean earthy umami taste. So far I've only used it by combining it with some premium extra virgin olive oil and then topping food with a sprinkle of it. I can imagine too much would be overwhelming to the palate. Oh it also lasts a while, even after opening so don't feel like you need to use it immediately.

The was no flavour, and literally tasted and smelled like dirt. I have bought far cheaper versions of truffle paste and used fresh truffles so I understand what the flavour should be - unfortunately this wasn't it and I had to throw it in the bin. I don't know if I just got a bad batch, but it was a complete waste of money.
