Boring, boring and boring
This is the most boring book you will ever get your hands on. If you don't have to take this class I highly recommend that you don't. Trust me. Just pick something else instead. Also, ask for a syllabus beforehand and make sure instructor is not an arrogant jerk.

Worthless... waste of money.
This subject is so boring and I don't know how or why anyone ever invested their time trying to complicate language. I can only hope that one day this info can be used for something more useful than teaching college students elementary school concepts....
