Clean Coffee Co. - Low Acid Medium-Dark Roast, Tested for Molds and Toxins, Papua New Guinea Blend, Notes of Milk Chocolate and Roasted Almonds (Whole Bean, 12 oz Bag)

I'm reviewing the Papua New Guinea, both the ground and the whole bean products. I've been looking for a coffee to replace the Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf's medium-dark organic Papua New Guinea Sigri Estate. It's been a long journey of trying different coffees over time. None really hit like that. I think where I'd go next would have been to get something like a pure Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee, but that's very expensive. Now I think I've found something good enough to replace it. It's very close, and it might even have some better flavor notes than what I was looking for. I first tried the ground version of this product, and it was not quite as bold as what I wanted, but close. Excellent flavor. Smooth. Low acid. It's nice. I'd give it 4.5 stars. Then I tried the whole bean version of this product, and it blew me away. Both are the same Papua New Guinea medium-dark. To my surprise, the whole bean version put it over the top for me. It was more flavorful than the ground version and came much closer if not better than the Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf PNG that I was looking to replace. This one is a keeper. The ground one is good, too, but not quite as good as the whole bean one. I'd give the whole bean one a 5 star rating. Both are very smooth and low acid. The whole bean one seemed more bold and had flavor that I didn't get from the ground version. Highly recommended.

This is my absolute favorite coffee! I have tried many low acid, non-toxic coffees. This has full flavor without bitterness. No stomach issues. No headaches. I have recommended this to many people that enjoy coffee but don't like some of the effects from other brands. It is a little pricey, but worth it.

I did a lot of research on coffee companies that test their product for mold. I tried 6 companies and this was the best one! The low acidity is wonderful and the taste is light. I wish they had a light roast... maybe that's not possible for low acidity? Always makes a yummy brew.

I've ordered this a few times now and can confirm the low acidity, which makes it that much easier to enjoy for me. The flavor is quite good; I cannot say I've sampled any better and when I ran out and used a store-bought brand I did miss it. I would rate it 5 stars if I was 100% certain it is the best I've ever tried, but I do believe it is the tastiest *low acid* I've tried to date. Also, it's a bit pricey for me, which makes me think twice, but my recent purchase was a Prime Day deal and that price was better than the purchase before that.

I Love this coffee! It’s low acidity Clean Coffee & it tastes Amazing! I wish I could afford to use Daily. Maybe 1-2 bags a Month.

This coffee was pretty good. Love that it was tested for molds and toxins (if that can be believed). The taste was smooth but the cost was pretty high so I doubt I will order again.

Update 1/8/26: The issues with sealing have been fixed as every bag is fresh and sealed tight. This is the only coffee we drink and it absolutely does not bother my stomach! It is rich and flavorful. I buy two different flavors and occasionally the espresso beans. It is worth it! I really enjoy this coffee when it's vacuum sealed properly. I've been buying this for probably a month or so. I picked it out as it was a more affordable option for coffee tested for micro toxins and mold as well as being low acid. The first package I received was sealed very tight meaning the grounds were not moving in the bag and the bag didn't budge when squeezed. It was delicious and when we finished it, I bought more. The second bag was not as tightly sealed as the first and I noticed the flavor was not as bold. Out of each order, only 2 have had well sealed bags and I buy bother the dark roast and the medium roast. If each bag was consistently sealed tight I would give this 5 stars.

So glad I found some clean coffee. Taste much better. Healthier than mold.
