Let me preface this by saying I have written less than 10 reviews for products ever. That being said, I felt the need to do it for this. Our house was built in the 20s but an addition (with a bathroom) was put on in 1956. This is the original tub. It’s from a sub company of Sears called Homart and you could purchase a trio set of tub, toilet and sink. Our sink is also still original. I thought the glaze in this tub was ruined. I have tried multiple products because we can’t find this color to reglaze. This cleaner is awesome!!! It got out marks that I have been trying for years to remove. If you’re looking to save your enameled tub, try this!!!

Kohler cast iron cleaner managed to make a white cast iron sink gleam and shine again. I like cast iron for its heft and the way it looks with that enamel finish. I also like any color the white, which is where a problem with hard water becomes noticeable. I live inHouston, Texas where the municipal water contains dissolved minerals which appear in colored sinks as white, amorphous forms when the drops have dried. Obviously since they are white, they aren’t noticeable in a white sink. Even though Kohler has around 18 colors available, the salesman said he sold more white than all the other colors combined and then some. Hopefully this sets the stage for what this cleaner does. I have tried products like CLR, Comet, Bon Ami and pumice and could not rid those white outlines. The Kohler cleanser is almost a turquoise colored paste, which can be applied to a Scotch-Brite pad or sponge with a little water and you will be able to rub out those mineral stains with a little effort. I suppose this is a case of matching the right tool for the job and this works exceptionally well. A little goes a long way as I used around six, nickel sized dollops of the cleanser to polish the entire sink. The first cleaning took the most effort with following clean ups taking much less work. So if you have cast iron that is a color white, this product will get the job done. If you find my review helpful please like. Make the white sink look new again.

If I could throw away my cast iron sink and trade if for a stainless steel one I would do it in an instant but financially it’s what I’m stuck with for the time being. This product does its job. Before using this product I would use Bar Keepers Friend with a Magic Eraser and that would do the trick just as effectively. Depending on your stains you may have to use a lot of force if you have lots of fine scratches. I’m my case this sink is really old and was here when I bought my home. Overall it doesn’t leave a scent and does what it’s supposed to. This is great if you have a newer cast iron sink but a bit more work if you have an old one that’s been beat up. This is probably the most cost effective way to clean those stubborn stains. The reason I’m giving it 4 stars is because it doesn’t protect as long as I wish it would you will constantly be using this product anytime you throw pots and pans into your sink. Just don’t buy a white cast iron sink and it’ll save you the hassle.

Works like a charm. I normally make a concoction of baking soda, vinegar and dawn to clean and scrub all of my sinks and tubs, but after investing a good amount on a new Kohler kitchen sink, I felt more comfortable using something specifically designed for the cast iron. Plain and simple; it works. We have EXTREMELY hard water so we have to scrub our sink often to keep it maintained. But even if we slip and let it go for a while, this does the trick. It cleans any grime, sediment, and hard water stains. Easy to use, the smell is pretty neutral. Not fragrance free, but there’s no significant chemical smell either. It doesn’t take much product or effort to get the job done and to get your sink looking brand new again. Highly recommend.

disappointed in that it didn't take the stain away as readily as the description said it would. i tried it twice on the spots and it got lighter but has not gone away.

I just ordered a Kohler K-6625-0 farm sink, and I bought this to use on it. However, when I got it in the mail today, I thought I'd try it on something else. We built our house 15 years ago and my husband had this horrible habit of knocking his razor against the master bath porcelain sink while he shaved, thus leaving ugly gray scratches on our brand new sink. I quickly broke him of the habit but I've lived with those scratches for 15 years. But after a few minutes of rubbing this Kohler cast iron cleaner on them, they are COMPLETELY gone, and you would never know they were there. The shine wasn't removed either, as I feared would happen, it is still beautifully shiny. My sink looks exactly as it did when it was newly installed. I just wish I'd taken before and after photos. I could not be more thrilled! I'm sure others have found lots of other uses for this miracle product as well. Update: just used it on my glossy white dinnerware to see if it would remove guests' overzealous application of pressure with their utensils. The gray marks are gone and can't even tell they were there. No disturbance of the high gloss finish.

My Kohler sink is 25 years old and still in excellent condition. Although Javex quickly removes sink stains, over time it degrades the chrome finish on drain hardware. This product does not, and buffing effort is minimal.

The product arrived within the delivery time scale shown and cleans beautifully. Full marks.
