Schrade SCHSA2DBS Viper Assisted Side-Opening Drop-Point Folding Knife, 3-Inch, Black

I only have two problems with this knife, the opening mechanism, while unique, cool, and fun to mess around with, is a bit slow, which isn't really a problem, the other complaint I have is that the thing you press down on to close takes too much force to press down. Other than those two it's awesome, the opening mechanism is interesting and fun, I've caught myself walking down the street just opening and closing it for fun plenty of times, unlike many other folding knives, you really can't cut yourself while closing it. If I could I would rate it 4.5 stars instead, but amazon doesn't let you.

Love these knifes by Schrader own every variation. Sadly a buddy didn't understand how it worked and shattered the lock pin wacking it against a table trying to close it. Still sharp to this day and use it all the time was hard to find replacement for the lock though. Also always strikes up a good conversation.

I would buy the tanto blade viper 1 over this, the handle is oddly shaped and the hole is too small. Still a good knife for the price.

Love this knife. Super sharp, very well made, perfect pocket carry size. Flips open. Fast as an automatic.
