I ordered the short ones and they are plenty big enough for a cockapoo. You might want to put your dog outside or in another room as they stink a lot, unless you like fishy smells. Having said that she absolutely loves them!

These treats are designed to be firm yet pliable; they are not harder than my own thumbnail. This is particularly important to us as one of our dogs has previously fractured a pre-molar on a very hard tendon chew. We are therefore uncompromising about ensuring the dental chews we offer are appropriately firm for the dogs. The firm, abrasive quality of these dried fish skin works effectively to safely engage their teeth for cleaning as they chew. Usage and Palatability: Both of my dogs are very happy to chew these, which is essential for a dental product to be useful. The vet said our collie’s teeth are fine - but a little discoloured. We give her a dental chew every day but it has little effect - then we discovered Sippers fish twists - and what a difference a day makes!! With just 1 chew we could immediately see a huge improvement. She now has one of these every other day and they are doing a grand job. Ok so they smell of fish - a lot - but only for a short time - and it’s so so worth it. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

Both my dogs love these, I use a solid pair of scissors to make them smaller for my little Yorkie and my goldendoodle just scoffs them. My Yorkie had terrible teeth and breath, and I see a huge improvement. Also she doesn't like the standard dental chews but gnaws away happily on these. The goldendoodle gets through a regular size one in around 10 minutes, his teeth look great, no plaque at all. At first we thought the fishy smell was the worst but I think we got used to it!

These longer twists are good for bigger dogs or to keep a smaller dog chewing longer. Recently there has been a noticeable inconsistency in length and thickness which is a bit problematic for my dog but variations are to be expected with natural chews.

I wish I could tell more people about this product! I found skippers maybe 9 months ago and my girl's teeth have never looked better. She is 10 years old and has never had a teeth cleaning. I've tried all the other options, none of them worked. I give her 1 almost every day (sometimes I run out or forget, but I mostly give her one daily). I can't say thank you enough for this product. Finally there's a clean and healty dental chew for my girl.

These are a great alternative to a regular rawhide chew. We have our dogs on strict whitefish diet due to food allergies. These are a great snack for them. They are crispy but hard to cut if you need to.

I feel like it's often hard to find treats for a dog that is on fish diet. My dog is obsessed with them & that makes me happy!

I thought they were going to be crunchy like other cod fish skins I received from another company. These cod fish skins are very tough and not chewable. It was like rubber. I could hardly snap them in half. My dog, which is a small dog, couldn't chew it.
