Not mild. Not sorry.
This sauce packs a real punch! The heat is a little spicy but flavorful — not just burn for burn’s sake. You get a bold mix of chili, garlic, and lemon that works on everything from chicken to fries. If you love spicy food with depth, this is a winner. Warning: Not mild. Not sorry. 🌶️

Perfect sauce for me
The vinegar allows less salt. The spice heat is not over powering, yet not mild. There is also a hint of garlic in the aftertaste which turns my tastebuds on. See the generous amount of peppers and minced garlic. Both are not overwhelming the flavor of the food that it is complimenting. I’m definitely going to be reordering more in the future.

This is great stuff!
I had piri-piri sauce on food in Mozambique back when it was still a Portuguese colony and am so glad that Nando's established itself in South Africa and then decided to start what turned out to be a major restaurant chain which serves delicious food. I'm a bit miffed that there's no Nando's near where I live in SW Florida, so buying bottles of the sauce, hot version, is my way to enjoy it via marinades, usually for chicken, but it has many uses. The restaurant even puts it in their delicious dark chocolate cookies. Yum! This sauce is truly great stuff.

Well packed, 1 bottle tasted rancid
One bottle tasted rancid and had zero spice. Tasted like vinegar, and it was also super runny. Thankfully the rest were fine. I haven't cooked with it yet. None came broken!

These taste just like home and came carefully packaged . However it’s more on the pricey side, since Walmart now sells them for $4 each .
