Great for drink art
Bought this to create the lips shape on top of our drinks for Galentines night. Turned out great, everybody was impressed. The taste or smell wasn’t overwhelming. The color was very rich and beautiful. High quality product and there’s a lot of it too.

Use to dye white chocolate and icing naturally
Nice dark color for white chocolate and icing - closer to red than beet powder.

Use in our coffee shop
We use this as a coloring agent in some of our drinks at our coffee shop! It’s so nice to have a natural food coloring option.

Works, but it's weak.
I can't eat tomatoes, and I bought this to make vegetable purees, what we call Nomato sauce, look more like tomato sauce. You eat with your eyes first and color really does matter here. It works, but I was shocked at how much it takes. The dust is incredibly potent when it's staining your fingers, but not your food. It took about 4 tablespoons worth to take roughly 2 quarts of pumpkin-colored puree to something of a muddy red color. Never did get a vibrant tomato red. I could adjust the hue by playing with vinegar and baking soda, but no way to really get a good red without upending the whole bag into the pot of sauce. I had no problem with the flavor, but the slight sourness played well with my sauce. I don't think I'd want to use it in sweets.

Unexpected color
You get a lot of powder in this little package. I mixed some of the powder in with dough and it came out a beautiful red color however when I mixed it in with a white icing it turned the icing a dark vibrant pink color. To achieve more of a red color mix in with a little yellow food coloring for icing. Although the colors are unexpected I rlly like this product.

Vomit
Absolutely NO! We don’t use food dye and I was making a cake for my sons birthday. This could not get a cup of ricing red it was pink with half the bag and then it tasted SOOOO BAD. I added coco powder to try and make it darker that make it kind of purple. The taste is literally the absolute worst!
