These work pretty well for the value. We switched over to rechargeable about 2 years ago because we felt like we were burning through batteries right and left. These work well for kids toys, basic flashlights, normal household items. The only issue we have is you cannot really charge and store them, you need to charge right before use or they seem to lose charge over time, that’s mildly inconvenient, but as long as we’re not in urgent need of battery power, we can charge them for a few hours and than toss them in whatever we need. We do keep a pack or regular batteries on hand for urgent needs.

I now have enough of them that I can keep them in sets of 2 or 4, keeping the sets together while they are being used and also while they are being recharged. I read somewhere that you should always recharge the same brand batteries together and also batteries that have been equally discharged. So that has been my goal, to use only AmazonBasic batteries and to keep the sets together while being used and recharged. So far so good - I highly recommend them.
