Milwaukee 48-32-4617 8 Piece Metric Hex Insert Bit Set

Used the 6mm in my Makita impact driver to remove 4 hex head screws that secure the crank pulley on a 1.8t vw. I ordered these ahead of time knowing that these can be a bit of a pia to remove and man am I glad I did. A little shot of pb blaster and the bit zipped them out no problem. One quick squeeze of the trigger backed out each bolt half way with an ugga and barely a dugga. If only the rest of the job went that smoothly. Nice tight fastener fit as well. For less than10 bucks I'm glad I have them.

These bits work with my impact driver and have held up very well. This set of heavy duty Allen bits was a great value and has a nice range of sizes included. Highly recommend these bits.

Genuine Milwaukee bit set!

I needed to disassemble many Ikea furniture pieces and these bits were just the right tool (metric) for the right price! Because I have had a good experience with other impact driver bits from Milwaukee, I thought I may as well stick to the brand. I have used them both with my impact driver as well as with my MULWARK Rght Angle Screwdriver 1/4 Mini Ratchet Wrench. I am satisfied so far. I did not add the fifth star because only time will tell about the quality, although I am pretty sure that it will be earned ;) One note of caution: I used the bits to disassemble IKEA furniture with my impact driver. I would discourage assembling IKEA furniture with POWERFUL power tools, they may break the panels or the hardware. Yep, I know I said Powerful power tools… I also have a powerless electric screwdriver lol.

I use these on Electrical Panels Daily: no wear/tear on them yet. Highly Recommend.

The name says it all. These bits are reliable and can be used with a variety of drivers. Depending on the driver they can be used in really tight places. I have always been well pleased with this brand and I am certainly well pleased with these bits. I recommend them if they fit your application.

High quality steel as per usual with Milwaukee bits and very versatile with their application. Paired with a bit holder they’re a fantastic compliment to an impact driver and hold up very well to the impact of the anvil. Their real shining moment though is when paired with a right angle ratcheting screw driver as their small form factor allows you to get in behind things without any struggle or blind guess work. I used them during fit off for a security installation where I needed to repeatedly open and close bases to hikvision cameras along with allowing for easy adjustment of the camera mounting axis which allowed for a very quick turn around time on the job. My only confusion is why Milwaukee don’t offer these bits domestically within Australia; every man and his dog would have one in their tool box as no other brands beside maybe kinchrome offer anything metric hex with this kind of size range. Awesome product and I hope to see them land on Australian shores ASAP!
